I bought BABA and regret it

For decades I owned a mutual fund New Asia at T. Rowe Price. It was Asian stocks excluding Japanese.

I recently sold all of it.

I owned PetroChina (PTR) for a while and it did well. Still pays 6.81% dividend.

An old Chinese guy advised me to sell because he said the Communists would just take my money when it suited them.

I did sell it, but the only stocks that have ever been taken from me are my Russian stocks frozen by the US: Yandex and SBER.

It's kinda tempting to buy BABA right now. I feel like it's a good price to buy at now, I'm just skittish that I'll lose all my money in some future us-chyna turmoil.

Why buy China, similar to Russia, China stock gets crushed if they attack Taiwan. Worth almost 0

The Chinese financial system consists of grifters and suckers; the buyer is the sucker.

I'm not buying.

How's you Russian portfolio doing, BTW?

Is there a website to buy Chinese stocks?

Aren't Walmart, Amazon, and Target already listed on the exchange?
