Well, anybody that wasn't actually elected that is in an elected position.

That's like "who isn't interest in the truth?" - well liars aren't. Propagandists aren't.

People just don't understand the scope of corruption still, the magnitude of it. We do NOT live in a democratic republic, and haven't for a long time. The intelligence agencies took it over decades ago, and even then it was hanging by a thread. The military has LONG ago betrayed the nation, we do not have an operating "free press" - we have only propaganda and most of the population is completely unaware of it, and are even hostile when you explain to them the situation.

In any case, nothing will come of this. Protest all you like, and nothing will happen except maybe some protesters will be killed by the government to dissuade protests. The "news" media won't cover it. At some point, if you want to fix this, there's going to have to be violence. Every level of the government has betrayed the nation. Courts don't matter, police don't matter, judicial system doesn't matter, military doesn't matter, intelligence agencies don't matter.

This recount is ONLY being done to get the SEMBLANCE that there's accountability. It's like a kangaroo trial or an investigation that goes nowhere. Remember the Durham investigation? That was just to give the appearance that it was POSSIBLE something could be done by government to fix government. Durham may not even exist.

Only criminals run the government now, exclusively.

I sometimes think the actual old-school mafia, La Cosa Nostra, has in fact taken over the government. They worked at it for 100 years, and they finally made it, buying legit businesses and political power, looking respectable, but really maintaining the same old ways.

Yep, just like we tried to have an orgasm several months ago about the China Virus coming from the lab, and not from the "Wet Markets" as told to us by the MSM. Everyone who didn't believe the narrative was labeled an unhinged, crazy conspiracy theorist. Yet, just a few days ago, new reporting from WSJ states that three people from the lab were hospitalized in Sept 2019 with "severe corona virus symptoms." The virus, likely enhanced by "gain of function" research escaped the lab, and killed millions. China, and maybe the USA, are at fault.

So, what "labels" would you give the people who didn't believe the MSM-peddled lies now? Like the lies about the election being "fair?" And what will you call us when these "conspiracy theories" also turn out to be true?

Last year, my own mother-in-law dismissed my assertion that the Wuhan lab is by far the most likely origin of the virus, because she heard on CNN that that's a "conspiracy theory".

I pointed out some of the published papers on gain-of-function research in Wuhan, but still no better.

I kind of gave up on my parents for a while when they were entirely convinced the George W. Bush didn't lie about a weapons of mass destruction program in Iraq although we could agree with Obama about what a piece of shit he was, and we agreed that Trump - although he had many flaws - wasn't a total piece of shit. I've reminded them about the weapons of mass destruction program in Iraq, and they've grudgingly accepted it. It took 16 years.

It's really hard to get older people to realize they have been tricked. They grew up when the United States still had an actual news media, and they largely believe the US still has one.

If she's into CNN, I'd recommend Glenn Greenwald, Aaron Maté and Jimmy Dore. They are "liberals" - disaffected ones. Don't just dismiss "liberals" - you'll have no stronger advocate than a convert, and these guys are just losing their religion. I hope they don't catch the other one. Be an atheist certainly when it comes to politics.
