40ish Parents: "Maybe get a half gallon"

Kids: "What is a half gallon? Ice cream doesn't come in half gallons."

Neoliberal Economic Narrator: "Why, it's innovation and hedonics that ice cream is coming in sma- I mean, calorie reduced sizing."

Shrinkflation. Or, if you're a neoliberal fascist apologist (aka Economist), "Right sizing higher calorie portions at a differently incentivized cost"

Just like Eskimo (That's racist!) pies and Big Macs - they shrunk to the size of a child's hand, from the original (adult) size.

I'm doing grass-fed from a relatively local family farm; currently investigating community shares for vegetables. I encourage all PatNetters to do the same. Local organic/wholistic growers are not affected by fertilizer price increases or shortages, nor are the family meat producers dependent upon scarce GMO grains.

Yes, it costs twice as much as grocery store "10,000 cows to a patty" ground beef, but you're supporting local sustainable famers/ranchers.
