She also knew she got a pass when she was hired - I wouldnt be surprised if the hiring manager giggled as she whispered into her treasured statistic-improving new hire's ear about how she throws whyte male resumes in the trash to help reduce toxicity in her office.

Yep, until the organizations she quoted were like "We have nobody by that name working for us". And I bet it had to happen several times, and possibly a threatened lawsuit or two, before anybody checked.
