Today, Congressman Roy (TX-21), joined by several of his House colleagues, introduced legislation to prohibit U.S. funding for the World Health Organization.

The “No Taxpayer Funding for the World Health Organization Act” would prohibit the United States from providing assessed or voluntary to the WHO.

Congressman Roy had the following to say about this legislation:

Funneling millions of taxpayer dollars to the corrupt World Health Organization that serves the Chinese Communist Party is a slap in the face to hardworking American families struggling under record high inflation, and to all those whose lives and livelihoods were ruined and destroyed by the COVID pandemic.

The WHO not only regularly promotes abortion and radical gender ideology but also praised China for their “leadership” at the beginning of COVID-19 and has done nothing to hold the CCP accountable for the spread of COVID-19. It is far past time for Congress to use its power of the purse to cut off US funding to this corrupt international body just like the Trump Administration did.

Congressman Roy is proud to be joined by Rep. McClintock (CA-05), Jeff Duncan (SC-03), Mary Miller (IL-15), Andrew Clyde (GA-09), Harshbarger (TN-01), Matt Rosendale (MT-02), Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA-14), Paul Gosar (AZ-09), Dan Bishop (NC-08), John Moolenaar (MI-02), Pat Fallon (TX-04), Andy Biggs (AZ-05), Wesley Hunt (TX-38), Huggins (LA-03), Greg Steube (FL-17) in introducing this legislation.

Today, GOP lawmakers are attempting to revive the effort to take the United States out of the WHO. On Jan. 12, House Republicans introduced the “No Taxpayer Funding for the World Health Organization Act,” which was sponsored by 16 representatives.

Rep. Chip Roy (R-Tex.), lead sponsor of the bill, stated: “Funneling millions of taxpayer dollars to the corrupt World Health Organization that serves the Chinese Communist Party is a slap in the face to hardworking American families struggling under record high inflation, and to all those whose lives and livelihoods were ruined and destroyed by the COVID pandemic. The WHO … praised China for their ‘leadership’ at the beginning of COVID-19 and has done nothing to hold the CCP accountable for the spread of COVID-19.”

The pandemic accord, a spokesman for Roy told The Epoch Times, “is just another reason to defund the WHO.”

Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, said that a potential indictment must be treated as "a politically motivated prosecution based on a strained, convoluted legal theory."

"It makes clear the danger of a politicized ‘justice’ system that will be (is being) weaponized against ALL Americans," he said.

Should also include employers and college presidents who mandated the shots. Even if this passed, pharma and pharma allies will shop a judge that will throw it out.

💉 On Tuesday, Fox News (and only Fox News) ran an encouraging story headlined, “Chip Roy unveils bill to let Americans sue COVID-19 vaccine makers over injury, negative effects.”

This week, Chip Roy filed maybe the most important bill in American history, which would delete the PREP Act’s liability protection for covid vaccine makers and allow injured citizens to sue the pharma companies directly.

As you well know, Roy’s bill has a snowball’s chance. It’s going nowhere, and rapidly. But bless Chip for filing it. His bill is not without consequence, it is critical to continue the conversation. Let’s keep filing bills like Chip’s, over and over, until the exact right political moment appears and then we will pass it.

💉 Finally, we got a little more good news about Chip Roy’s (R-Tx.) terrific bill banning immunity for covid vaccine manufacturers and extending the time to file suit. It’s called the “Let Injured Americans Be Legally Empowered Act,” or in short, the “LIABLE Act”. It has two sections, and only the second one counts:

The good news is Chip’s bill, which admittedly is still a long shot, if not an impossible shot, now has 21 co-sponsors in the House:

Given the current makeup of the Senate and the White House, it’s impossible to imagine Chip’s bill could pass this time around; I can’t bring myself to even hope for that. But it’s a start! It’s a conversation. And it keeps the pressure on.

There’s one thing, though, of which I’m absolutely sure: One of these days they’ll desperately need some votes, and this thing will pass. We’ll get there.
