Is Lebron James suggesting that 20,000 racists pack the Boston Garden pretending to not be racist when they cheer on the black guys in Boston jerseys but show their true colors when it comes to the opposing team’s black guys?

Or maybe it’s that the fans have found a way to easily get under Lebron’s skin?

Lebron is not very intelligent is he?

Boston's passion for their sports team is well documented. Both the fans and the local sports media expect a certain style of play. Gritty. Don't quit. Don't give up. Play hard to the end. The puritan work ethic is engraved in the New England ethos.

The Boston fan sees himeself not just as a spectator, but a participant and giving the opponent a peice of their minds is commonplace. Get in their heads. Rattle them. And sometimes it works. And when it works, it's glorious to see. Schadenfreude at its best.

Now is that an excuse for drunken frat boys dropping the N word? Not at all. But having lived there for a considerable amount of time back in the day, I don't think Boston is any more or less racist than other parts of the country.

He even sounds like a california libtard when he talks. I think hes dumb, and wokers saw the opportunity to manipulate an incredibly famous and influential black man to their benefit. I bet he's some woker group's pet project, and they constantly manipulate him, feeding him propaganda so as to make him think he's arriving at the answers by himself, and they constantly praise "how smart he is" to make him feel intelligent, informed, and virtuous so he feels confident speaking out on issues. He loves feeling like hes part of the "good guys" and cherishes his woke hollywood elite "friends". They probably even "let him in on some secrets" about things he could say to "really make a difference in the world" and the lapdog just wags his tail.

My point is that racists aren’t spending $400 on a ticket for a predominantly black sport, going to the game, and picking and choosing which black guys they cheer for and which they hate due to racism.

Lebron is what is called a useful idiot. He is fulfilling the role he has unwittingly been assigned. Yes, he is an idiot.

No, the people that care about what he says, are useful idiots.

Lebron is a paid propagandist. He's not stupid, the people that listen to him are stupid.

Really? You think he's being paid to say these things?

LeBron , is starting to realize he’ coming to the end of his career but won’t accept it ,so now he tries to make himself seem /sound relevant. Unfortunately for him hes out of touch with the viewing public, fans and from I see ,even his teammates . There’s only one unbeaten team and that’s fathertime

I expect you are being sarcastic.

This is one habit I work against, I try to never engage in sarcasm. Every celebrity's statements are inauthentic when it comes to anything political. Propaganda is a form of marketing. Just like celebrities are paid to wear certain clothing, they are also paid to make political statements.

Celebrities sell their mind, their soul. They are the lowest form of prostitute there is, where they own nothing about themselves, and are willing to do anything for money. They are, by far, the least respectable people in society, even lower than politicians. None of them express their actual thinking, until they are old and retired. They are the worst form of sellout, some have a reckoning, but few of them do.

The people that he can actually identify and hear are all near the court. Those tickets are substantially more than $400/seat in Boston. People that can afford those seats are not going to jeopardize themselves and get picked up by a hot mic or camera over a black athlete.

He's just butt hurt because when in the Eastern conference, Boston would usually beat him outside of the Miami Heat years and his 2nd stint with Cleveland. He never can or will attain GOAT status because of Boston. You also can't lose in the finals as much as he has and Boston also stopped some of his teams from even getting to the Finals.

I wouldn't look too much into his comments. Yes he is an idiot. Most people would be if you were a famous high school athlete, probably got away with slacking off in class for his basketball career. No college, and if there has been anything it's all a marketing thing for whatever University. Basically he's a high school drop out level of intelligence that can play a game well.

Good on him for his wealth, but his handlers make most the decisions for him financially and his opinions are his, and they are and always have been bad.

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/when-it-comes-to-sports-champions-be-a-david-ortiz-not-a-lebron-james?_amp=true

Comparatively, there is David Ortiz. Ortiz is the beloved former baseball player for the Boston Red Sox. He played 14 seasons for the iconic MLB franchise. He was a 10-time All-Star and three-time World Series champion. He will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame on July 24.

Yet Ortiz, born and raised in the Dominican Republic, has an entirely different opinion of the United States than James. Whereas James routinely expresses entitlement, Ortiz expresses gratitude. Consider a recent interview he gave last week.

"One of the guys asked me, 'Man, you sound like you're very proud of being an American citizen,' and I told him, 'Man, you have no idea,'" Ortiz said in an interview with NESN's Tom Caron. "I mean, I can't thank the U.S. enough for everything that had to do with me and my family throughout the years. You know, I built a career in the U.S. I'm living the American Dream based on all the hard work. I have never had issues living in the U.S."

For nearly two decades, LeBron has been a professional athlete in the public eye. He's given hundreds of interviews. Yet, the next time James talks about the U.S. as affectionately as Ortiz did this last week will be the first time. Ortiz showed appreciation; James showed privilege.

"And the U.S. has given me the opportunity to be someone, to put my son, my family in a better situation. Two of my kids have been born, one in Boston and the other one in Wisconsin. You know, I have, I was married to someone that is a beautiful person," Ortiz continued.

Notice how Ortiz stressed opportunity. He realized nothing was owed to him. He embraced the foundation of what many people fail to realize is a core tenet of American society: equal opportunity. Ortiz cherishes this because he knows it’s not guaranteed. It’s a fact lost on many people today — people like LeBron James.

"What else can I ask? You know what I'm saying? I mean, everything has been incredible. I have — I have an amazing career, so I always gonna try to represent the U.S. no matter what, just like I represent the Dominican Republic."

Possibly? Sure but, he was already this type of person. No surprise he'd be a lefty loon. I doubt he's being paid for what he already believes. Maybe.

I don't think he was paid to expel bad opinions. He's a simpleton with little education. Has had agents, handlers and financial advisors since he was a child. Remember his high school games would get aired on ESPN. You can get paid in high school. Dude has no idea of reality for the common person.

Most people at NBA games have wealth too. Most of his adult life has been making a lot of money and him being around a lot of people with money. So he worries about his skin color. He should worry about making the black community better. When 13-15% of our population is black and most of the neighborhoods are shit, what do you think people are going to think of you? Walk into a trailer park in rural IL Lebron. They're just as ghetto as black neighborhoods.

A bunch of drunk and rich Bostonians trying to troll you is laughable. Man up and stop whining. They're not "actually" racist. He's just soft. His flopping proves it.

The Irony here for me is, just last week, I was having a discussion with a black guy that was carrying the notion that the South is "Republican" and therefore "Racist".
I asked him if he has personally ever been called the N word by a white guy before. He stopped midsentence and had the revelation, that the only time he's ever been called the N word was when he was growing up in Boston.

I don’t think he’s being paid directly. However he is most definitely a shill for the CCP and most definitely does give Xi blowjobs on the regular, at least metaphorically.

Enis Kanter said he was told directly in NBA locker room that he cannot speak against China. No surprise, Hollywood already has that stance. Lebron is a CCP whore. Literally Lebron most certainly believes that black people are mistreated in the US and subject to government discrimination on par with what the CCP does to its political enemies.

To believe that requires one to be a mouth breathing, uncaring, unthinking imbecile.

Most people are entirely apolitical, neither left nor right, but if it's PERCEIVED that it's easier to be "left", that's what people pretend to be.

Why piss off a market of 1.4B people? Not defending Lebron here, but he's touting the company line and lining his pockets. You or I would do the same. That's what needs to be understood here. Lebron is mainly an idiot though. An entire fandom cannot be racist. 2nd graders have better thoughts. I don't care if people make money with stupid thoughts, but his handlers have him by the balls. I really don't know why anyone gives a fuck about Boston anyway. It's a shit hole of humans, but I wouldn't call them racist.
