We must ensure that a weaponized DOJ does not target concerned parents as “domestic terrorists.”

However, Democrats just blocked my motion to prevent the Biden DOJ & FBI from using their resources to inappropriately target parents.

Plays both sides of the fence, always switching his tail from one to the other, trying to decide which side to jump for optics. A calculator who probably can't be trusted except as the customary political double, triple agent i.e. only on a leash.

He says a lot of the right things though:

Republican Sen. Ted Cruz wowed the crowd at the Conservative Political Action Conference in his home state of Texas on Friday.

He addressed everything from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s trip to Taiwan to the future of the Republican Party, often in hilarious fashion.

Ridiculing the toxic wokeness that has permeated American universities, Cruz said, “I talked recently with a college kid at one of these schools who said at each class before any student speaks, they’re required to introduce themselves, say their name and say, ‘My pronouns are…’ Well, my name is Ted Cruz and my pronouns are kiss my ass!”

The crowd roared.

I'm more on Ted Cruz's side than not, but the dude is a blowhard. Political "science" was my minor in college. I've met his types. They're word twisters. Narcissist really. My dad was one. It wasn't a pleasant upbringing. Attorneys are shit. I'll keep this one short.. lol.

Sure, Ted is a blowhard, but he's on the right side, and pretty entertaining. I don't mind him.

His interviews can be hillarious. He definitely has a knack for saying what everyone’s thinking. He also has a way of talking down to others without them really knowing he is intellectually insulting them.

Ted is often the sharpest guy in the room.

Not the coolest but the sharpest.

Eh, my friend has personal experience with him in trying to get him to stop a very questionable investigation by a federal agency. Ted Cruz looks out for Ted Cruz.

Ted Cruz Introduces Constitutional Amendment to Impose Term Limits on Congress

The amendment, which Cruz introduced alongside Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC), would limit U.S. Senators to two six-year terms.

Members of the U.S. House of Representatives would be limited to three two-year terms after the date of its enactment.

The bill would be constructed as a constitutional amendment.

Ted Cruz said: “Term limits are critical to fixing what’s wrong with Washington, D.C.

“The Founding Fathers envisioned a government of citizen legislators who would serve for a few years and return home, not a government run by a small group of special interests and lifelong, permanently entrenched politicians who prey upon the brokenness of Washington to govern in a manner that is totally unaccountable to the American people.

https://slaynews.com/news/ted-cruz-calls-for-anthony-fauci-to-be-prosecuted-and-jailed-for-lying-to-congress/

Republican Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) has dropped the hammer on Dr. Anthony Fauci by calling for him to be prosecuted and imprisoned for lying to Congress.

Cruz was responding as mounting evidence suggests that Fauci covered up reports that Covid leaked from a Chinese lab.

Cruz said at CPAC this week:

“There has been no person who has done more to destroy trust in the scientific and medical community than Dr. Anthony Fauci, who told millions of Americans lies willingly, knowingly, glibly, and supremely arrogantly.

“In any sane system, he would be prosecuted for lying under oath, and he would go to jail for lying under oath to Congress.

“We have a majority in the House, and I am confident that we’re going to use that majority and use it to hold Dr. Fauci and the others who lied accountable.”

I'd like to believe that something will happen to pfraudulent Pfauci, but given the truly extreme and open corruption in the FBI, which won't even charge Hunter in spite of mountains of evidence, I doubt that Pfauci will be charged either.

The FBI should be disbanded and all of its management jailed for participating in organized crime running selective investigations only. But again, not going to happen.
