At least in the United States, there's a high value of education imparted on children from Catholic parents. I'm one of them, but I'm cured! I'm an atheist.
Jesuits, are intimidating. All they do is learn. 1/2 of them are said to be atheists, there's a large number of scientists among them, they are always multi-lingual. I think all of them speak Latin. Many of them are so well educated they are educated out of their religious belief, but stay in the order.
