Founded in July 1921, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has wreaked death and destruction on the Chinese populace for a century.

Armed with the Marxist ideology of “struggle” as its guiding principle, the CCP has launched scores of movements targeting a long list of enemy groups: spies, landlords, intellectuals, disloyal officials, pro-democracy students, religious believers, and ethnic minorities.

With each campaign, the Party’s purported goal has been to create a “communist heaven on earth.” But time and again, the results have been the same: mass suffering and death. Meanwhile, a few elite CCP officials and their families have accumulated incredible power and wealth.

More than 70 years of Party rule have resulted in the killing of tens of millions of Chinese people and the dismantling of a 5,000-year-old civilization.

While China has advanced economically in recent decades, the CCP retains its nature as a Marxist-Leninist regime bent on solidifying its grip on China and the world. Millions of religious believers, ethnic minorities, and dissidents are still violently repressed today. ...

Less than a decade after the Party’s founding, Mao Zedong, then the head of a communist-controlled territory in southeast China’s Jiangxi Province, launched a political purge of his rivals known as the Anti-Bolshevik League Incident. Mao accused his rivals of working for the Anti-Bolshevik League, the intelligence agency of the Kuomintang, which was China’s ruling party at the time.

The result was that thousands of Red Army personnel and Party members were killed in the purge. ...

Mao and his loyalists employed the familiar tactic of accusing his rivals of being spies in order to purge senior officials and other Party members.

All told, about 10,000 CCP members were killed.

During the movement, people were tortured and forced to confess to being spies, wrote Wei Junyi in a 1998 book.

“Everyone became a spy in Yan’an, from middle-school students to primary school students,” Wei, who was then editor of state-run news agency Xinhua, wrote. “Twelve-year-olds, 11-year-olds, 10-year-olds, even a 6-year-old spy was discovered!” ...

In October 1949, the CCP took control of China, and Mao became the regime’s first leader. Months later, in the regime’s first movement, named Land Reform, Mao mobilized the nation’s poorest peasants to violently seize the land and other assets of those deemed landlords—many of whom were just more-well-off peasants. Millions died. ...

“Many of the victims were beaten to death and some shot, but in many cases, they were first tortured in order to make them reveal their assets—real or imagined,” according to historian Frank Dikötter, who has painstakingly chronicled Mao’s brutality. ...

Over the next few months, Li’s close relatives and extended family would be tortured to death, one after another.

As a result of the torture, Li—who was 22 years old at the time—lost his manhood. During the CCP’s subsequent movements, Li would be tortured several more times, costing him his eyesight. ...

What ensued was the worst man-made disaster in history: the Great Famine, during which tens of millions died of starvation, from 1959 to 1961.

Starving peasants turned to wild animals, grass, bark, and even kaolinite, a clay mineral, for food. Extreme hunger also drove many to cannibalism.

There are recorded cases of people eating the corpses of strangers, friends, and family members, and parents killing their children for food—and vice-versa.

Jasper Becker, who wrote the Great Leap Forward account “Hungry Ghosts,” said that Chinese people were forced to engage—out of pure desperation—in selling human flesh on the market, and the swapping of children so they wouldn’t eat their own.

Across 13 provinces, there were a total of 3,000 to 5,000 recorded cases of cannibalism. ...

As many as 45 million people died during the Great Leap Forward, according to historian Dikötter, author of “Mao’s Great Famine.” ...

After the catastrophic failure of the Great Leap Forward, Mao, feeling that he was losing his grip on power, launched the Cultural Revolution in 1966 in an attempt to use the Chinese populace to reassert control over the CCP and country. Creating a cult of personality, Mao aimed to “crush those persons in authority who are taking the capitalist road” and strengthen his own ideologies, according to an early directive.

Over 10 years of mandated chaos, millions were killed or driven to suicide in state-sanctioned violence, while zealous young ideologues, the infamous Red Guards, traveled about the country destroying and denigrating China’s traditions and heritage.

Now traveling about the country destroying and denigrating our traditions and heritage sounds very familiar!

It was a whole-of-society endeavor, with the Party encouraging people from all walks of life to snitch on co-workers, neighbors, friends, and even family members who were “counter-revolutionaries”—anyone with politically incorrect thoughts or behaviors.

Also very familiar in America now!

Zhang Zhixin, an elite CCP member who worked in the Liaoning provincial government, was among the victims of the campaign. According to an account reported by Chinese media after the Cultural Revolution, a colleague reported Zhang in 1968 after she commented to that co-worker that she couldn’t understand some of the CCP’s actions. The 38-year-old was then detained at a local Party cadre training center, where more than 30,000 staff members of the provincial government were being held.

While in detention, she refused to admit to doing anything wrong and stood by her political opinions. She was firmly loyal to the Party but disagreed with some of Mao’s policies. She was sent to prison.

There, Zhang suffered horrendously as officials tried to force her to give up her viewpoints. Prison guards would use iron wire to keep her mouth open and then push a dirty mop into it. They handcuffed her hands behind her back and hung a 40-pound block of iron from the chains. Provincial CCP officials even ripped out all of her hair, and guards would often arrange for male prisoners to gang-rape her.

Zhang attempted to commit suicide but failed, which caused prison officials to step up their control. Her husband was also forced to divorce her. By early 1975, Zhang had descended into madness. In April of that year, she was executed by firing squad. Before being shot, the prison guards cut her trachea to silence her. She died at the age of 45.

During Zhang’s detention, her husband and two young children were forced to renounce their relationship with her. Upon learning of her death, they didn’t even dare cry—for fear that they would be heard by neighbors who might report them for bearing resentment toward the Party. ...

Tiananmen Square Massacre

What started as a student gathering to mourn the death of reform-minded former Chinese leader Hu Yaobang in April 1989 morphed into the largest protests the regime had ever seen. University students who congregated at Beijing’s Tiananmen Square asked the CCP to control severe inflation, curb officials’ corruption, take responsibility for past faults, and support a free press and democratic ideas.

Inflation, official corruption, lack of a free press? All very familiar in America now!

Thousands are estimated to have died.

Lily Zhang, who was head nurse at a Beijing hospital a 15-minute walk from the square, recounted to The Epoch Times the bloodshed from that night. She woke up to the sound of gunfire and rushed to the hospital on the morning of June 4 after hearing of the massacre.

She was horrified when she arrived at her hospital to find a “warzone-like” scene. Another nurse, sobbing, told her the pool of blood from injured protesters was “forming a river at the hospital.” ...

“Shooting down unarmed students and commoners—what kind of ruling party is this?” were his final words, Zhang recalled.

Then-Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping, who ordered the bloody clampdown, was quoted in a British government cable as saying that “two hundred dead could bring 20 years of peace to China,” a month before the massacre in May 1989.

To this day, the regime has refused to disclose the number killed in the massacre or their names, and heavily suppresses information about the incident. ...

In 2008, Tibetans protested to express their anger at the regime’s control. The regime, in response, deployed the police. Hundreds of Tibetans were killed.

Since 2009, more than 150 Tibetans have self-immolated, hoping their deaths might stop the regime’s tight control in Tibet.

In Xinjiang, the regime authorities have been accused of committing genocide against Uyghurs and other ethnic minorities, including detaining a million people in secretive “political reeducation” camps.

China and Russia share narrative: USA are “main perpetrators” of the Ukraine war

The Chinese ambassador in Moscow blames the US for the Ukraine war.

There are increasing signs of a genuine solidarity between China and Russia.

© Malte Mueller/Imago

China jumps to Russia's side and blames the USA for the Ukraine war - also with a view to the Taiwan conflict.

Moscow/Beijing - Zhang Hanhui, the Chinese ambassador in Moscow, has called the United States the "main perpetrator" of the Ukraine war.

He also accused President Joe Biden's administration of wanting to "smash" Russia.

The statements made in an interview with the Russian state agency

Tass

represent a new escalation in China's relationship with the United States - China has been adopting a harsher tone since US politician Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan.

Zhang echoed the sentiments of Moscow, claiming that the US had cornered Russia by repeatedly expanding the NATO alliance eastward.

Washington is also trying to tie Ukraine to the West with the help of the EU.

Claims from China: US wants to 'exhaust and destroy' Russia

"As the initiator and main perpetrator of the Ukrainian crisis, Washington continues to supply arms and military equipment to Ukraine while at the same time imposing unprecedented comprehensive sanctions on Russia," the Chinese ambassador said.

The United States' "ultimate goal" is to "exhaust and annihilate Russia with a protracted war and the cudgel of sanctions."

If you look to the east, however, you would observe an excellent relationship between Moscow and Beijing.

Sino-Russian relations have "entered the best phase in history" thanks to mutual trust, a high degree of interaction and joint strategies.

Ukraine war and Taiwan conflict: Russia and China show solidarity

Like Vladimir Putin, who has in the past called Ukraine part of Russia, Chinese politics are building a similar narrative in the face of a looming military standoff with Taiwan.

The People's Republic of China has claimed the self-governing island for itself for decades - Xi Jinping and his Communist Party therefore describe Taiwan as "renegade".

China and Taiwan: That's what the conflict is about

View photo gallery

If the US continues to intervene on the Taiwan issue, the US expects "an even greater, more devastating defeat" than in the Ukraine conflict.

China is "on the way to our nation's most important goal: the reunification of the motherland," said Ambassador Zhang in the

TASS

interview.

Unsurprisingly, Zhang Hanhui jumped at the opportunity to shoot at Nancy Pelosi due to her visit to the island.

"Non-interference in internal affairs is the most fundamental principle for maintaining peace and stability in our world," said the politician.

The United States has a "desire to prove its lawlessness to everyone."

A good comparison of the analogies between Nazi Germany and CCP China. History doesn't repeat, but it does rhyme.

The China Situation Isn’t As Bad As It Looks. It’s Far Worse.
The International Criminal Conspiracy of “Change Through Trade”

Michael P Senger

Among the challenges that citizens face in the modern world is having to base their political views on imperfect information. The information we receive about political events—especially international ones—actually comes from financial, academic, policy and media elites, each with their own set of biases, self-interests and platforms.

These perspectives are mixed and processed for public consumption by the bosses of the world’s major media outlets, each with biases and self-interests of their own—primarily shaped by those of the elites who sponsor them. Thus, when faced with a geopolitical crisis, the perspectives to which we’re exposed are heavily influenced by the self-interests of our elites. ...

Rather, Germany’s rearmament was “clandestine” because it was enabled by a years-long campaign of denial and gaslighting by western financial, political, and media elites, in which they refused to acknowledge or publicly disclose that it was happening. ...

Western elites would provide the Nazis with funding, support, and positive press, while turning a blind eye to their violence, lawlessness, illiberalism, and fanatical goals as the Nazis modernized Germany’s industries, dismantled its democratic institutions, and systematically eliminated their rivals. In return, the Nazis would effectively act as pit bosses, promising stable business conditions, low wages, preferential investment opportunities, and extraordinary financial returns—at least, on paper. ...

“Change through trade” took on a whole new meaning, providing western elites a limitless pretext to ignore the CCP’s lawlessness, illiberalism, and fanatical goals as they modernized China’s industries and systematically repressed their rivals. In return, the CCP would effectively act as pit bosses, promising stable business conditions, low wages, preferential investment opportunities, and extraordinary financial returns—at least, on paper.

Even after the CCP killed thousands of innocent protesters marching for democracy and human rights at Tiananmen Square, economic relations only grew closer. Change through trade.

Even after the CCP brutally eliminated the Falun Gong religious movement which, at its height, had over 50 million adherents, China was admitted to the World Trade Organization. Change through trade. ...

For the reasons that follow, I conclude that whatever the original intent, for decades “change through trade” has in the aggregate amounted to a mere pretext for western elites to sanction criminal activity, deception, illegality, human rights violations, forced labor, and oppression of minorities by the CCP and its collaborators in return for economic, political, and social favors, with the machine of clandestine relations that have developed under this pretext of “change through trade” amounting to the broadest international criminal conspiracy that the world has seen since Germany’s clandestine rearmament. ...

War on the West: These Jabs Are Clearly a Bioweapon

It turns out the injections are being produced with the CCP through Fosun Pharmaceuticals out of Shanghai. And the adverse events are not proportionately distributed.

• The vast majority of these adverse events were in the United States.

• The second largest chunk was in Western Europe.

• And all the other 56 countries combined where this injection was rolled out only amount to 7000 adverse events.

Dr. Naomi Wolf: "So to me, as a political analyst of many decades, this is clearly a war on the West, and it's clearly a bioweapon."

Are the death jabs really produced by through Fosun Pharmaceuticals out of Shanghai? Can we validate that?

As the election season is upon us, I want to take this moment in time to reflect upon the fact that the CCP is not a friend of the United States. This became very clear last week, as I watched a pre-screen of the new Epoch Times documentary about the CCP called “The Final War.” I was shocked at the evidence presented that the CCP’s historic and ultimate goal is truly about global domination. In fact, the CCP has historically defined and declared the United States to be its its enemy #1. All I can say is that when this documentary is released, please watch it.

“When the pandemic started, there was a shortage of the masks and other medical supplies,” he said. “The Chinese government was holding them. A lot of those masks and supplies were made in China, and they were using that as a way to influence or coerce other governments.”

Xie also discussed how China has infiltrated America’s government, sports and entertainment industries, businesses and universities.

Funding for some movies comes from China, Xie said, and those sources “want to add it (propaganda) to the movies and change the endings or change the scripts to say something positive about the Chinese government.”

The Chinese Communist Party also “pays to have their content (published) verbatim in the U.S. media, whereas Western media cannot even have clear presence in China,” Xie said.

The US and China are heading towards inevitable conflict if Washington does not change its approach, China’s new foreign minister has said in a fiery press conference in which he defended his country’s strengthening relationship with Russia.

In his first media appearance as foreign minister, held on Tuesday on the sidelines of the “two sessions” political gathering, Qin Gang outlined China’s foreign policy agenda for the coming years, presenting China and its relationship with Russia as a beacon of strength and stability, and the US and its allies as a source of tension and conflict.
...
Qin defended the close friendship between China and Russia, a relationship closely watched by the west in light of the war in Ukraine. He said the ties between Beijing and Moscow “set an example for global foreign relations”.

“With China and Russia working together, the world will have a driving force,” he said. “The more unstable the world becomes the more imperative it is for China and Russia to steadily advance their relations.”

He said there was “close contact” between the leadership of the two countries, with “head of state” relations forming the anchor of the relationship. “The strategic partnership … will surely grow from strength to strength.”

Qin’s comments aligned with a speech by China’s leader, Xi Jinping, to political delegates on Monday, decrying what he called US-led “suppression” of China.

“Western countries led by the United States have implemented all-round containment, encirclement and suppression of China, which has brought unprecedented severe challenges to our country’s development,” he said.

Two high-level memos allege Beijing covertly funded Canadian election candidates

Justin Trudeau said he was never briefed on the issue, and his security adviser has dismissed it out of hand, but two high-level national security reports before and after the 2019 election suggest they were warned that Chinese government officials were funnelling money to Canadian political candidates.

The two intelligence reports, from 2019 and 2022, raise questions about what senior federal officials knew about the alleged funding by a foreign interference network and how seriously the Trudeau government took the warnings.

One is a “Special Report” prepared by the Privy Council Office for the Trudeau government and was date-stamped January 2022. The memo was also finalized, suggesting it was intended to be read by Trudeau and his senior aides.

Reviewed by Global News, it asserted that Chinese officials in Toronto had disbursed money into a covert network tasked to interfere in Canada’s 2019 election.

“A large clandestine transfer of funds earmarked for the federal election from the PRC Consulate in Toronto was transferred to an elected provincial government official via a staff member of a 2019 federal candidate,” the PCO report stated.

A Chinese-American academic, writing under the pseudonym of Xiao Li, pointed to similarities between Mao’s Cultural Revolution and today’s America. He observed, “The Red Guards of 1968 often came from privileged backgrounds.” These Red Guards, encouraged by Mao, “went out, seeking to root out imaginary class enemies from within.” Li’s father was tormented by bullies “for being descended from counter-revolutionaries”; his work assignment was reduced to picking up cow dung.

Today, Li observed, the West’s “revolutionary vanguard is also made up of young, well-educated people, a disproportionate number hailing from elite educational institutions and working within elite professions” who hunt for “secret racists.”

Li observed a further ominous parallel: “In China, no book, be it about astronomy or sewing patterns, could fail to contain an introduction with fulsome praise for Chairman Mao, complete with quotations from his collected works. Similarly, today [Western] businesses selling anything… feel the need to bend the metaphorical knee to the protesters.”

Before going down this Maoist path any further, we should review where it all began. There was never a honeymoon period; Mao was never a good guy whose revolution went tragically wrong. Mao was always a vicious totalitarian. The loss of tens of millions of lives was not unintended nor unpredictable. ...

Mark Tykocinski, the president of Thomas Jefferson University and dean of its medical college, liked tweets that questioned COVID vaccines, gender reassignment surgery for children, and university diversity offices. Placing no value on freedom of speech, writing for the Philadelphia Inquirer, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Susan Snyder informed readers of what she thought were Tykocinski’s transgressions.

On contemporary American college campuses, students are encouraged to call “bias response teams” to denounce other students, professors, and guest speakers. Unlike in Mao’s China, they haven’t yet beaten a professor or speaker to death, but they disrupt speakers and threaten violence.

The Minnesota House has passed a bill that would monitor the speech of citizens for “biased” content alleged to create hate and fear.
