With some exceptions, governments have made great efforts to put the well-being of their people first, acting decisively to protect health and to save lives. The exceptions have been some governments that shrugged off the painful evidence of mounting deaths, with inevitable, grievous consequences. But most governments acted responsibly, imposing strict measures to contain the outbreak.

Yet some groups protested, refusing to keep their distance, marching against travel restrictions — as if measures that governments must impose for the good of their people constitute some kind of political assault on autonomy or personal freedom! Looking to the common good is much more than the sum of what is good for individuals. It means having a regard for all citizens and seeking to respond effectively to the needs of the least fortunate.

It is all too easy for some to take an idea — in this case, for example, personal freedom — and turn it into an ideology, creating a prism through which they judge everything.

it's such a shock that the chief executive of one of the world's largest and most wealthy religious franchise would come down on the side of tyranny. Everything Francis has said and done has been Kommiekunt.

"The good of the many outweigh the good of the few."

The problem comes when you try to define good.

Francis
He's bad enough, but when he's replaced the Catholic church is going over the cliff. It's going to be full bore gay marriage, abortion on demand, etc.

The american church will break off. Most religions are going through a schism over progressive liberal bullshit and traditional conservative values.

Europe is dying and will only be revived by war.

Fuck that Commie Pope, he has a special place in Hell, as Satan's personal pocket Asshole.

Liberals and Commies honestly believe that by attacking the Church and infiltrating them with Humanity loathing scumbags.
That humanity will lose their spirituality. They just give me more faith, and a greater understanding of the Good vs Evil struggle.

The Catholic church infiltrated by Commies, the Southern Baptist Church infiltrated by Commie Liberal Califags.

This is how new churches are made, and even more Conservative religions are born.

I'm not a Catholic, but I know enough about that denomination to have seen this guy as the wolf in sheep's clothing that he is back when he took this role. As soon as he starting taking stances that were in complete opposition to the Catholic faith (eg. homosexuality), it was obvious he was an enemy plant. I said to a Catholic friend of mine, "that guy is there to undermine and destroy your church and your faith."

These evil, globalist pukes have essentially bottomless purses and they've been using them to install their little puppets in every position of power they can for the past few decades, if not longer.

I'm not even a religious person, but after seeing the behavior of globalists and their minions, the parallels to biblical references seem almost uncanny. Lies, deceit, debauchery, corruption, betrayal, pedophilia, satanic artwork and rituals, murder, and outright assault on Christianity and all that is good in the world. I really cannot come to any other conclusion about these people and what is going on.

When it goes well with the righteous, the city rejoices, And when the wicked perish, there is joyful shouting.

The problem is when one fails to acknowledge that the rights of an individual are given by God.

Rights aren’t any governments to give.

TYLER, TX — Pope Francis has officially sacked Bishop Joseph Strickland of Tyler, Texas for being "way too Catholic."

"Despite repeated warnings, Bishop Strickland refused to stop being so Catholic," said Pope Francis. "He adamantly held firm to Catholic doctrine, and there is simply no room for that in today's Catholic Church."

According to sources, Bishop Strickland initially drew the Vatican's ire due to multiple episodes of him publicly professing the Catholic faith. "Bishop Strickland had the incredible audacity to actually teach the Catechism of the Catholic Church," said Cardinal Robert McElroy. "Like, even the really unpopular parts about gender and marriage. That stuff is so - how did the Pope say it - 'backwards and out-of-touch'! Anyhow, Pope Francis wanted to make sure all the Catholics out there holding fast to the Church's teachings as they battle an increasingly hostile culture know how truly alone they are."

Even after multiple admonitions from the Vatican, Bishop Strickland chose to affirm the magisterial teaching of the Catholic Church instead of giving in to the dominant cultural ideology. In an effort to make the charges against Strickland as ironic as possible, the Vatican accused Bishop Strickland of choosing cultural ideology over the teaching of the Catholic Church. "The irony really is delicious, isn't it?" said a smiling Pope Francis. "It's like when I banned celebrating the Latin Mass, purportedly for the sake of church unity - when the Latin Mass is of course a way to unify Catholics across generations and cultures. Also, those Latin Mass parishes were actually growing - had to nip that in the bud."

At publishing time, Catholics had remembered that the Church history was littered with lousy Popes who actually set people on fire for being too Catholic, but the gates of Hell will not overcome Christ's bride.
