With big banks going under, CBDC's can't be far behind—and if we don't STOP them, "lockdown" will be total, and eternal, for us all

Once the economy has melted down, CBDC's will be proffered as the ONLY way we can get "back to normal"—a "cure" that will turn out to be as catastrophic, in their way, as those "vaccines"

With two major US banks going under this past week, it’s more than likely that the Next Big Thing, deployed to change the subject (from the ever-growing toll of “vaccination,” the truth about “January 6,” and other inconvenient measures of reality), is going to be that economic crash which has been hurtling toward us ever since the last one 15 years ago—a catastrophic prospect that “our free press” often has discussed, and with all due solemnity.

And it’s just as likely that that global crisis will, eventually or soon, be used to push, as its “solution,” and, therefore, our salvation, central bank digital currencies, a/k/a CBDC’s—a “cure” that will be just as deadly, in its way, as those “vaccines” that were (and still are!) pitched as our only hope; for such currency will not be yours to spend as you see fit, but only on those things “your” government allows, and only if the state has not declared you a “domestic terrorist” or spreader of “hate speech” and/or “misinformation.” Thus CBDC’s will be used to shut down all and any dissidence, as Trudeau did to the truckers in Canada, and as is increasingly the case in China. ...

Let me end by noting that this grim development, with its dire implications for all (real) dissidents worldwide, appears to be a matter of complete indifference to “the left”—which, these days, comes as no surprise, since every stand by this Bizarro “left” is harmful to the people, and beneficial to the globalist elite. (I will elaborate on that statement in a future post.) ...

Considering the blunt hostility of that corrupted “left” toward the truckers’ protest in Canada, this silence on CBDC’s—and the Great Reset overall—is (again) not a surprise. Meanwhile, the rest of us—that is, those of us who really care about the welfare of the people, the rights and freedoms of us all, and the survival (or realization) of democracy—must join together to resist this devilish innovation, which would be the ultimate in digital enslavement.

Bills have appeared in 20 states to require central bank digital currency! Passed in South Dakota!
But vetoed by Governor Kristi Noem.

it means they will have instant knowledge of all your transactions.

it’s the end of privacy and agency.

it’s not just a bad idea.

it’s a true blue, no fooling around, weapons grade bad idea.

and it looks to be coming.

this july. ...

now, the thing about a system like this is that it’s painfully obvious that

... people are nervous and banks are un-assessable black boxes that drive banking crisis groundhog day.

and the federales want more concentrated banking that’s easier to control.

... it’s really a bit perfect.

they scare you out of the frying pan and onto the skewer.

and by the time you realize it,

The American financial system is threatening to come apart at the seams, and for the people who control the levers of power, the only way to patch things up may involve the installation of a monetary Social Credit Score system. In recent years, America’s fiat fractional reserve system has transformed into a faith-based credit system, and the people who use the dollar are losing confidence in a system that relies entirely upon their complete and total trust. Should our collective faith in the system continue to decline, the American ruling class will decide that their path forward involves regrasping full control of their confidence scheme through the implementation of a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).

A U.S. CBDC would do much more than simply implement a fully digital version of the U.S. dollar. This system could provide authorities with an almost unlimited digital toolkit to both surveil and censor citizens. A CBDC is advertised as making the system more “efficient” and helping to deliver monetary power to the unbanked. However, it would also give shadowy bureaucrats the power to swipe a “criminal’s” life savings, instantly distribute funds to allies of the system, among an almost infinite series of additional authoritarian instruments. ...

In Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis has moved to prohibit CBDCs within the state.

Not someone I normally agree with, but Ted Cruz authored a bill against CBDC.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr Says the Truckers Protest in Canada Highlights the Dangers of CBDC

“When I watched that happen I recognized that freedom of currency is as important as freedom of speech”

RFK Jr has many policies that will resonate with conservatives plus some independents and a few Dems. I see a Dem strategy of running RFK Jr as a third party and thus syphon away enough Trump voters for Biden to win.

"If you think about the benefits of digital money, there are huge potential gains. It's not just about digital forms of physical currency. You can have programmability, you know, units of central bank currency with expiry dates. You could have, as I argue in my book, a potentially better -- and some people might see it as a darker -- world where the government decides that units of central bank money can be used to purchase some things, but not other things that it deems less desirable, like, say, ammunition or drugs or pornography or something of the sort. And that is very powerful in terms of the use of a CBDC."

ET TU, OUR GREAT CHRISTIAN LEADER?

A new law paving the way for the roll-out of the Digital Ruble comes into force on Tuesday, establishing the blockchain-based currency as a new form of legal tender inside Russia.

What is the Digital Ruble?

The Digital Ruble is a new form of currency in Russia, which will be issued by the Central Bank. It is Russia’s version of a central bank digital currency (CBDC) and will be based on blockchain technology. It will sit alongside cash and existing forms of electronic money as a means of payment. The Central Bank says the Digital Ruble will reduce transaction costs for businesses, add an extra layer of security for consumers and help combat corruption. It is currently being tested by the regulator and commercial banks.

Once launched, businesses will be able to accept payments in Digital Rubles in shops, potentially including through offline methods like NFC payments. Digital Rubles will be stored directly in accounts with the Central Bank, but accessible through wallets with commercial banks. Digital Rubles will be fully convertible into both cash and other electronic payment forms. The Central Bank will not pay interest on holdings of Digital Rubles and will not allow borrowing in Digital Rubles.

Anyone who thinks Russia isn't part of the global agenda is deluded. Just like anyone who thinks Ukraine isn't part of it, or the United States. But if we're from the US of A I think we should be focused on the digital rollout at home, I don't give two shits what Russia does because I'm not Russian.
17   Eric Holder   2023 Aug 16, 3:34pm

Russia is accelerating the implementation of the digital ruble.
The Central Bank of Russia will start its first real operations on 15 August in 11 cities. Now Russians are being told that it will be "the onset of a new beautiful and transparent world".

After the full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine, Russians rushed to withdraw money from their bank accounts. Last year alone, the volume of cash grew by 2 trillion rubles (about $22 billion). And it is more difficult for authorities to control cash.

Russian blogs contain active discussions about the digital ruble.The main viewpoint is that businesses and citizens will be under an even tighter control of the state with such digital currencies.

The digital ruble will probably have a heavy impact on those who fled Russia - they already call it a digital "serfdom" for Russians.

What is planned:

Since the new digital currency will be issued by the Central Bank of Russia, it means that:
▪️ accounts of all individuals and companies will be on the Central Bank's server;
▪️ Federal Security Service (FSB), financial monitoring, and tax authorities will have access to this data;
▪️ authorities will be able to monitor any transaction;
▪️ authorities will be able to see where and on what money is spent;
▪️ a digital ruble can be programmed so that it can be used only in a certain location.

Who will have to make the transition to the digital ruble:
▪️ state employees;
▪️ social payments (which means millions of people).

Shelf life of the digital ruble:
There is a possibility that the new currency will have a shelf life. After its expiry, the money will vanish. That is, Russians will not be able to save and withdraw money. And it will also have to be spent before the expiry date.
The digital ruble is a new and convenient way of control by the Russian authorities. It will make them able to restrict financial transactions, encourage the purchase of certain goods and forbid others with a single button.
Such a rapid introduction of the digital ruble might suggest that the Central Bank is preparing for a shortage of cash.

On the other hand, I often think that graft and corruption could be the only thing saving us from a totalitarian digital currency. I mean, if there’s no cash, how will politicians get their payoffs? Or, what happens if they can’t daisy-chain a bunch of banks and a chain of complicated business entities to wash the bribe money? How will they pay for hookers and blow?

It seems to me that corrupt politicians want financial anonymity more than anybody.

Yeah, this is naive in the extreme. This guy needs to read or re-read 1984. CBDC isn't money, it's absolute power. This reminds me of the people who think that corruption comes from free markets...

President Donald Trump has vowed that he “will never allow” so-called “cashless societies” to infest America and promised voters that he will block “the creation of a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC)”

In recent years, globalists such as the World Economic Forum (WEF) and the United Nations (UN) have been pushing for the rollout of a CBDC or a “digital dollar.”

However, as Slay News frequently documents, “digital cash” poses a significant threat to the privacy, security, and freedom and people everywhere.

Trump said he is making the “promise” to block “digital cash” in order to “protect Americans from government tyranny.”

The 45th president and Republican 2024 frontrunner made the pledge during a campaign stop in New Hampshire.

OK, that's a nice point in favor of Trump.

Now if he would only admit that the toxxine has killed millions...

The CBDC is actually more important. Although we should remember politicians will say anything to win an election.
27   UkraineIsTotallyFucked   2024 Jan 20, 8:11am

They are going to kick him off the ballot in several states. It will be 'at the last minute' where SCOTUS can't do anything about it and the RNC will happily comply.

Sorry, SCOTUS. But we already printed and mailed out the ballots!

And that is what will kill the CBCD. Anything so centralized is hackable. And the effects of said hacking will be that much more amplified.

ALL currencies operate on confidence. Whether they be based on gold, cowry shells, glass beads, reputation or credit. Break that confidence and the currency goes to shit real fast with the public.

This is why Argentina, Zimbabwe and a shit load of other nations' populations conduct serious transactions in a foreign currency. Dollars in Argentina, Rand in Zimbabwe.

And when that isn't available, they resort to barter.

First time a CBCD is hacked, the issuing government had better kill as many ppl as they have to to keep it quiet. Or else the CBCD will become worthless.
