The problem isn't the sociopaths that are attracted to those seats. The problem is the rest of the sane citizens expects a sane person will come along and run the elections, run for elected seats, count the votes and enforce the rules.
The whole process is full of the people that article speaks of. They aren't just running for office, they are running the elections as well.

It definitely speaks to the problem of people who aren't sociopaths being duped into going along with immoral policies. But the current government is systemically flawed. A good example are the drug cartels. Doesn't matter how many kingpins you lock up, as long as the systemically flawed prohibition of drugs exists, the money will always draw new sociopaths to take their place.

Not just the sociopaths, but the endless printing press and laundered monies that support them. Sociopaths are often sanitized locally when people recognize them. When they are subsidized and given specific goals and marching instructions, say from the Soros types and Masons, and rewarded handsomely by a rigged system and placed purely as proxies, then you have a problem because you have sociopaths competing for job openings and trying to prove their merit to their employers, in the case of our country, the City of London and their Tavistock geniuses imposing the Moriah Conquering Wind to destroy the country. Sociopaths don't care if a hundred people lose a hundred dollars each if they, the sociopath, gain a single dollar.
