Geeze - talk about being a Rino and a shill to big Corporate donors! I know Trump has the unenviable task of trying to tear down Desantis, but this seems pretty stupid IMO.

As the late great Andrew Breitbart once said "Politics is downstream of Culture" - and the current Republican nominee leader has already surrendered on one of the most important issues.

Shit, Don Jr. and Don Senior these past few days.

I'm happy either with DeSantis and Trump, although I feel I owe Trump allegience for all he's been through and wanted DeSantis as successor.

Yes - Trump got a raw deal and is light years better than any Democrat and many Republicans, but what good is it to put Trump and all his massive baggage at the top of the ticket when he is limited to 4 years and is ALREADY turning into a Rino squish on these major hot-button issues?

Did you see Trump basically praising Gavin Newsome the other day with Tucker Carlson? Trump is cool with Gavin all because Gavin apparently said nice things about Donald a few years ago? What a fighter!

Seriously, how retarded is the Trump Org to get behind Disney, Gavin Newsome and Budweiser at this very moment in time? Is Trump Org this incredibly retarded or are th...

I'm not bothered by Trump saying he had a good relationship with Newscum, they likely did when he was prez since Newscum depended on Trump. Trump also got along with rocket man and putin, doesn't mean you have to like em, but part of the art of the deal is getting what you want without WW3. The recent disney/bud light stuff I agree is disturbing, but they prob. know they cannot win without big donors. Look how they were outspent last election, at some point a yuge money imbalance crushes everything.

Hopium Crazy thought: Trump is doing the Drama Creation he learned from Cohn and McMahon and this is fake static that will end up in a Babyface Tag Team of Gruesome.

Is that why Trump teamed up with the Kardashians and other celebrities to release alot of prisoners helping turn our cities into violent shitholes?

DeSantis showed that you can win over minorities in Florida without selling out Conservative values or resorting to whatever 4D chess we think and hope Trump is playing with this total retardation on Disney and Budweiser.

Sorry dude - Newsome is not some run of the mill moderate Democrat that we can find common ground with, nor is Gavin a powerful dictator we need to play nice with to avoid WWIII.

Trump simply fucked up again putting his vanity ahead of the needs of the party and country. "Gavin has said nice things about me!"

There is no better opportunity to compare and contrast Conservatism in places like Florida with the abject ruin Woke Marxism has inflicted on places like California.

But here we have Trump praising Newsome and attacking DeSantis over entitlement reform, Disney, Budweiser and even hypocritically accusing DeSantis of being hostage to the donor class.

I get that this is primary season, but does Trump think he is going to win by running as a JEB!/Mitt Romney squish compared to DeSantis?

I am so over this clown-show.
12   RC2006   2023 Apr 18, 1:25pm

We need to just pull the bandaid off and start the revolution before we become even more divided by all these clowns. Globalists own every option.
13   Ceffer   2023 Apr 18, 1:27pm

"Trump is unpredictable". Trump probably is not into job destruction and corporate takedowns, vely bad for economics.

However, our buddy Benjamin Fulford says the Rockefellers are running a fake Trump avatar while 'real Trump' is under deep military protection. If that's true, who knows what is coming from 'real Trump' or some alternative Trump movie. That would mean all kinds of fake Trump sightings and fake Trump attributions. Juan O Savin admitted on a video that Trump may have body doubles, and that body doubles are used by both sides, an ancient feint.

It might be hard to tell. It's the first time I have heard the enemy camp running an avatar of an enemy politician as controlled opposition while the real figure is mostly quarantined for safety. We're in the avatar wars these days.

De Santis seems to be the more consequent runner currently. Still I disagree with your assessment about the collaboration. Sure Trump is vain and it could be that that's the reason for his statement, but when you're President you work with all states. And Trump always says he got along with everybody while he was in charge, don't read too much into it. That being said, if de Santis comes out of his currently Florida home advantage and starts swinging nationally for his nomination, I'm all for De Santis if he can represent the side of common sense better and more consequently, not married to Trump at all (plus De Santis seems to be doing slightly better in the head-to-head polls with the leftoids). Don't think anybody here is married to Trump but you know as well that the Republican party is corrupt enough to determine their front-runner based on internal and donor politics. It's not the dem politburo, but De Santis will have to show some staying power once he goes national, whole different ballgame.

Again, politics is downstream of culture.

If Trump is not going to defend our culture from the Marxist degenerates and cowardly Corporations, we shouldn't wonder why we have a whole generation that is so retarded and weak who can't define what a woman is and vote straight ticket Democrat.

Does Don Jr. also have a fake avatar making him spout his nonsense on Budweiser over the weekend?

I'd argue that DeSantis has done more than any other Conservative in the last 20+ years to try and actually reform the corruption and ideological monopoly that dominates our government bureaucracy, academia, media, courts and Corporations.

I think we have learned over the last 20+ years it doesn't do much good to elect Conservative/Libertarian politicians if they let the orgs listed above sabotage the agenda.

I love that Trump is funny, picks fights and generally has pretty good instincts - but Trump has no team, experience (or desire?) to do the hard and necessary work of reforming the institutions listed above and get results. Trump really thinks he can charm the Commies in our bureaucracy to do the right thing.

Whereas DeSantis is dismantling the deep state root and branch and is actually prepared for the fights he picks.

You forget that DeSantis is the establishment pick. The Establishment has sacrificed Florida to shake off the scourge that is Donald J. Trump.
Does everyone honestly believe that there aren't any Obama judges in Florida for all of the Commie causes to shop?
DeSantis would be burred and put 10 feet under after the primaries if he made it past them.

In fact in just the few months after the Primaries, and before the General Election. Florida Liberal judges would step in and teardown everything he's done.
By time the election came he would look like a complete failure on paper. DeSantis was brought in by the Bush empire. DeSantis really didn't have to fight to be Governor.

DeSantis hasn't been savaged by the media in an election contest yet.. And as we see with Trump, they don't even need real issues to assault a candidate on. .Which is why I would hate a three or more party system. Because that would mean the populist candidate would be ganged up by 3 candidates spewing slanderous lies.

I don't think DeSantis will hold up to the media attacks and his house of cards legislation being ripped down before election day.

A bill is working its way though the Florida House now, that will make it a crime for a news org to slander a candidate. DeSantis will use that to assault Trump in the primary but be helpless to stop CNN and MSNBC calling him a Womanizer, a Biggot and a Racist. Madame Albright will be right along with a damsel in distress.

Right. DeSantis proved in Florida he can purge and defang bureaucrats and even Local/State Attorneys effectively.

Trump MAY have learned his lesson with the Deep State, but his 2016 Team was Ad Hoc. He also made bad choices, like ditching Flynn when he should have kept him, and not sacking Barr nor swarmy Comey after the former was slow walking everything and the latter clearly an activist Democrat/Globalist.

Whereas DeSantis has a Team all trained up and ready to follow him to DC.

Yep, Ross Perot - and the media pretended to be far more objective back then.

To differentiate himself from DeSantis.

And now Trump World is criticizing Desantis for being too mean to the Trannies and calling it homophobic.

https://twitter.com/sunnyright/status/1648682495167148033?ref_src=patrick.net

Chris Christie is criticizing Desantis for the joke about putting a prison next door to Disney!

Christie is paid by ABC (owned by Disney) and Trump got millions in contributions from his Disney Donors.

Hits keep coming.

Trump is channeling Rebecca Jones claiming that DeSantis got a bunch of people killed by not locking down hard enough.

MOAR Trump:

"INBOX: Trump releases a lengthy statement trashing DeSantis, claiming he's made "Florida...one of the least affordable states," "raised taxes...$1.5 billion," & one of the worst states to work, retire, raise kids, crime, rent, give birth, die, be a cop, teach, & pay energy bills"

Trump Org is on record. And they are using Soros funded talking points to boot!

Are you really disbelieving the formal communications of the Trump team.........let alone what has come straight from Trump's mouth?
______

“The real DeSantis record is one of misery and despair,” Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung said in a statement. “He has left a wake of destruction all across Florida and people are hurting because he has spent more time playing public relations games instead of actually doing the hard-work needed to improve the lives of the people he represents.”

"In his latest series of insults, Trump’s campaign sent out an email blast citing statistics that portray the state of Florida in a negative light, including statistics saying that Florida is one of the least affordable states to live in."

"The email also blasts the state of Florida for being “among the worst states” to live, to work, to raise a family, to retire and many other issues. It referred to statistics from organizations like the U.S. News and World Report, Money Inc. and the Florida Policy Institute, when talking about the state."
