Who cares? It just cuts down on the credibility of our "news". The more blatantly they lie, the less credibility they have. It was maddening to try to get people to see, "yes, this news article is just a blatant lie, see - here's the proof" - and just get dismissed. "Oh, the journalist made a mistake", the "source you have is bullshit" - and this is when 1 time out of 100 you could actually get the person to look into it. We just didn't lose our 1st amendment in the last 4 years, it's been gone for a long time, it just didn't matter when you were the tinfoiled hat maniac writing nonsense.

It's definitely Brave. Most adons have some insidious backdoor. The goal is to track what you're doing, NOT to sell you products.
