Politics is like fresh bread, you got to eat it while it's fresh out of the oven. Tucker sits on stories until they are stale. Most bottom feeding newsies consider any news past the news cycle as resolved. "Well it must not be true that the election was stolen, because nothing ever came of it!"
By that time it's just fodder for ridicule. That's when the Fox news hosts then tug at our heart strings. After the story has been frustrated and exhausted, and they know it wont ever go anywhere. Tucker defended the election just after the election. Even for a year after J6, he stirred clear of any controversy.
He tries hard to paint himself as the voice of reason, and he plays up to that.
Jim Hoft has every right to be up there talking like Tucker Carlson, he breaks these stories when they are new. Tucker only tackles them when they become a laughing stock.

One could be to help Biden and the Democrats.
He won't be on TV much unit his Fox contract expires or they pay him off.

I think it is about the election. Just like COVID 3 years ago. We can’t have Trump elected so we need to stack the deck against him in every possible way. Lather, rinse, repeat. And if all else fails, pull out Sirhan Sirhan again.
But that being said I don’t trust Ticker Carlson, he just comes off as slimy like a dead fish. His main stand on any issue is “I should be able to think and say whatever I want” but did he say anything important beyond that? What did he say about 2000 Mules? Nothing. He said nothing.

Everyone is talking about Tucker Carlson being fired, and nobody knows why. But there was some CNN hack that got fired last week and everyone knows why. Nobody is talking about Don Lemmon, they are talking about Tucker Carlson.
Tucker has been a red herring to distract from Don Lemming being let go. Tucker is an eye for eye, and is taking one for the team. It only builds his brand better. Let's all watch Sean Hannity, and Gotlieb clutch their pearls about Sean's dismissal, but you don't see them going anywhere. The three of them could write their own meal ticket and blow everything on Cable news away. But they don't and won't. They have been controlled opposition the whole time. Tucker's role is to remind us how futile we all are. He takes great joy in goading Americans, by confirming what we have known for years. He never touched none of the MAGA topics when they were fresh. In fact he ridiculed and circled the wagons with the establishment to deny Biden is corrupt, and the Election was stolen.
Tucker being let go was more about massaging the cantankerous Left, because they had to let Don Lemming go, less their Me Too movement be over.
