Flashback 2002. Barack Obama channels his inner Karl Marx. He thinks rich suburbs property taxes should fund inner city public schools. Here's the quote:
“And Illinois, like many states in the country, has an education system that is funded by property taxes. It is fundamentally unjust. So you have folks up in Winnetka, pupils who are getting five times as much money per student as students in the South Side of Chicago.” Here's the video the mainstream media doesn't want you to see.

Well Boy could I rant on the Irony of that!

In reality, back in the late 90's rich suburbs public schools weren't really all that. Sure they may have by default been more gentile, and a better suited environment for learning by default, because the kids there had less stress. But if the parents really wanted a leg up, then they had to shovel out the money and send Jr. off to private school.

By time Bush started talking about No Child left behind, all the kids that were not in the "good locations" were slated to be left behind. The good neighborhoods started getting state of the art computer labs, the highest paid teachers, advanced courses not offered in the other schools in the county. Now I know, I know, they pay more property taxes and all that touchy feely lies and bullshit. But in Florida, the State Lotto was passed specifically to create better schools in all districts and every school in Florida. But in practice, that money was used to build state of the art schools next the new gated communities being built, while the older schools got a paint job, and portable trailers.

Now I am talking about the Bush era, aren't I?

Oh yeah, of course I am. How ever! The Liberals are enjoying the social division from the Bush legacy of his "No Child Left Behind" they use it to justify, the education disparage as they pay higher taxes so there for they deserve it. Though in reality, it's the millions of poor desperate destitute people in Florida that bought those Lotto tickets that paid for those schools, long before those "Good School" gated communities even ever existed.

More gourmet meals and iPads for Coral High,
and more metal detectors, and more outsourced inedible food for everyone else... Is that a split pea soup or spit pee soup?
