3. fogie
an old person, someone who likes the Beetles.
So a Fogie is a bug expert?
Or are you implying that the millions of kids that bought one of these, then wen to learn to play real instrument, and now knows every song in the Beatles repertoire are Foggies?
Jay Z did "the black album"
Danger Mouse did "the grey album"
It's pretty safe to say that virtually everyone that knows and likes music, likes the Beatles. You don't have to be an old fogie to be in that club.
But that's not to say there aren't a lot of morons that like nothing but hip hop and rap, and who lack musical taste and knowledge to such a degree that they don't like or respect the Beatles.
These are people who don't appreciate music from the 18th century either, or jazz from the 50s or 60s. I'm not saying that the Beatles are a genre that's right up there in permanent popularity with classical music and jazz, but they're close in many YOUNG people's book.
So jojo, are you not only a troll, but also totally lacking in education and culture ?

Unfortunately the Beatles will be remembered long after the last Charlie Parker album has disintegrated into dust.
But so will Michael Jackwagon.

Unlikely. They'll both be remembered centuries from now. The Beatles will be known as one of the all time best pop music bands. Maybe as an important first in the age of mass global media.
Jazz will be known as more of an art, as in part of the music side of art history, and I would guess that Charlie Parker will have a more important place in music history than the Beatles, at least among music nerds, but he won't be as accessible to mainstream teens 200 years from now as the Beatles will be. But then again he isn't now and wasn't in the 60s either.
