Well, after what the Palestinians pulled in East Palestine (aka Jordan), in 1970, who can blame them?
Though the US, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and the UK are largely responsible for the refugees in the first place. Nothing that Assad and Hezbollah can't fix, if only the West would stop "accidentally" bombing Kurds and Syrian Army forces.
Bob says:
"Duh. So the sunni, predominately super conservative wahhabi, arab states haven't opened up to the syrian alawite shia refugees that have been oppressing the sunni majority in syria for the last 40 years. I'm shocked I tell you, simply shocked."
Strategist responds:
They should open their doors to their Arab brothers, Palestinians included. Islamic countries have a history off oppressing each other.
Ofcourse when it comes to terrorism hate and threats against Israel and the West, they have no problem putting aside their differences.
I'm shocked I tell you, simply shocked.
They don't want Hilary's CIA operatives fucking shit up. They are trained to take whole governments down with Social media and be called a regime with out a UN resolution.
Duh. So the sunni, predominately super conservative wahhabi, arab states haven't opened up to the syrian alawite shia refugees that have been oppressing the sunni majority in syria for the last 40 years. I'm shocked I tell you, simply shocked.
Most of the refugees are Sunni.
I haven't read that. Just the opposite in fact. But I haven't been following closely for a while so the situation may have changed. Most of the area's under attack are shia area's, supporters of the regime, and the people attacking are sunni. Why would most of the refugees be sunni? ISIS is very radical sunni, but are they really driving out that many sunni's? You are in Bahrain if I remember correctly, so you have access to much better reporting than will ever be seen in the US. What is being reported in the arab press?
It is the autocratic puppet rulers propped by the West who oppose, not the normal citizens. All Arab countries are ruled by tyrants
"Pope tells Europe's churches to host refugees. Vatican will host refugee families and wants parishes and religious institutions around Europe to do same, Pope Francis says."
you have to admit that this pope is being a good christian, which unfortunately has not been true of all popes.
and maybe it's a good strategic move for catholics. when the refugees note that the catholic church is helping them but super-rich saudi wahabis aren't doing shit for them, they might consider risking their lives to convert.
- Sell all of the material holdings of the church.
- Buy a monster plot of land outside Alamagordo, New Mexico.
- Build the largest refugee sanctuary conceivable there
- Place huge signs, in 8-foot Comic Sans font at 1/4-mile intervals asong the perimeter, saying "We have violated every single teaching of Christ, worshipped luxury and mammon, and sucked kiddie cock for two thousand years. We are sorry, and we will stop. We now dedicate the Catholic Church to good works."
Then I will say the pope is making a difference.
Indigenous asks:
"BTW who has instigated more wars, the Muslims or the Christians?"
Strategies:
Hard to say. The real question is, who instigates the most wars today? And the most human rights abuse? And slavery?
Let's stop them.
The real question is, who instigates the most wars today?
That is easy, the United States.
It is the autocratic puppet rulers propped by the West who oppose, not the normal citizens. All Arab countries are ruled by tyrants
People generally get the government they deserve. Or at least the government that's capable of controlling members of the predominant culture.
In the Middle East with its Muslim extremist fringe that looks like tyranny to people from a Christian democratic republic. Any questions?

The majority of refugees have always been Sunni. The areas that have been destroyed/bombed/ravaged most by the civil war were/are predominantly Sunni areas. They took the brunt of it when the civil war started and have subsequently had to deal with all the extremist elements that came in to fill the vacuum.
well we have enough sunni in the usa...what we need is a nice rainy breed...
Most of the refugees are Sunni.
its the fuckin desert.....DUHHHHH>>>>
The areas that have been destroyed/bombed/ravaged most by the civil war were/are predominantly Sunni areas.
pointed out, the "six Gulf countries -- Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain
Throw in Russia and China and all of Asia, who also are doing nothing. Not to menion all of the continent of Africa, which contains many prosperous oil and trading rich billionaires and nations like Nigeria and South Africa.
I hate to say it, but this is a great week for showing the charity of Christianity and paucity of almsgiving and good deeds from all the rest.
They don't want to go to Russia, China, or the rest of Asia.
They all want to live in Western Europe and America, the land of Satan.
Strange, the countries they hate the most, is also what the want the most.

Some attempt to go where they may get in and also have the possibility of finding work, whilst millions remain behind in refugee camps in Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey. It's all well and good going on about the thousands heading for Germany, UK etc... It's not those countries facing the real issues.

Good point. Then there is Jordan, one of their refugee camps:
They don't want Hilary's CIA operatives fucking shit up. They are trained to take whole governments down with Social media and be called a regime with out a UN resolution.
And they're too lazy to change the "Raised Fist in Circle" logo.
Throw in Russia and China and all of Asia, who also are doing nothing. Not to menion all of the continent of Africa, which contains many prosperous oil and trading rich billionaires and nations like Nigeria and South Africa.
Russia is doing something - they are arming Assad to crush the Fundamentalist Muslims that are supported by Saudi Arabia while we look the other way, our occupation of Iraq didn't help.
Had Medeved not been fooled by the White House, he should have vetoed the bombing of Libya. Just like Syria, we pretended we were only going bomb the Fundies, then bombed the Dictator's forces "by accident" (just like we accidentally hit Assad's forces in Syria, or the Turks "helping" "accidentally" bomb Syrian Kurds) Then we wouldn't have fundie crazies in control of more than half that country.
I wonder what the ratio to the US bombing Syria/Libya budget is to humanitarian aid there.
Any "War on Terror" that doesn't start with assassinations and bombing of Riyadh is all bullshit.
Any "War on Terror" that doesn't start with assassinations and bombing of Riyadh is all bullshit.
true, but since the saudis and bush families have their tongues down each others' throats, terror will continue to get funded with every gallon of gas any american buys:

Brilliant, thanks GSR.
Love how the Danish Guy is predicting massive influx of refugees if the US intervenes in Libya - back in 20111.

I'm surprised at that, at least for the refugees that have left Syria, which last I read was 3 million or about a third. I would have thought a big percentage, maybe not the majority, would have been shia, non muslim, and kurds. The vast majority of the fighting has been in Homs/Aleppo which is heavily Imanis/twelver, in Latakia/Idlib which is heavily Alawite , Damascas south west to the Golan Heights which is a mixed bag of mostly non muslim, and the north east kurdish area's. These area's are also the area's that border other countries, allowing easier egress than is available in the heavily sunni area's further away from the borders. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-22798391
The 6 million internal refugees I'm have no doubt are mostly sunni.
The facts are that the majority of refugees are Sunni. Lebanon is now trying to restrict entry partly because they already have 1.5m refugees, but also partly because the majority of those are Sunni. It's hardly surprising considering they constitute 74% of the population. You mention Imanis and Twelver, but they are only a small percent of the population. Kurds are predominantly Sunni.
Kurds are predominantly Sunni.
But clearly they are not fanatic Sunnis. They can't get along with ISIS.
Greed is an epidemic spread over all races, political & religious theologies & there's no cure.
I'm not driving illegally, officer, I'm an undocumented driver! You think you can deny me freedom of travel just because I don't have plates, registration, or a DL? MUH HUMAN RIGHTS!!11!!
Wow, thank you Bay Aarea.
Can anybody read this and think Saudi Arabia isn't deliberately assisting the export of Islamists to Europe, particularly Germany and Sweden?
The crowd of Sunnis that arrived via Hungary to Austria chanted "Germany! Germany! Germany!" at the Terminal, where they were greeted by Austrian Politicians.
Look folks - Turkey takes in refugees from the Middle East. It's a mid-level developing country, it's not a hellhole like Rwanda.
The kid that drowned - his father left Turkey after living there for a year in asylum. The whole family was well fed and clothed, had cell phones, etc. He wasn't kicked out of Turkey, he took his family voluntarily in an attempt to reach Sugar Candy Welfare Land.
Dammit, Welfare States and High Levels of Immigrants are incompatible.
Integration is a joke. Schools are set on fire almost everyday in Sweden. The perps are usually immigrant kids sick of "Shirk Disbeliever Lies", you know, Tolerance, Skepticism, Science. These schools aren't Detroit Slum Schools with broken windows, asbestos, etc. These are Ikea Schools, clean with beautiful modern furniture, exceptionally trained teachers, computers, bright and well lit, plenty of time for physical activity.
When we write the history of the how the West failed, the enthusiastic import of endless immigrants, a policy endorsed by all Neoliberals in Europe, the Center-left for Multi Cult purposes and the Center-right for "Labor Discipline/Overload the Welfare State so it breaks" purposes, will be one of the key reasons.
Dammit, Welfare States and High Levels of Immigrants are incompatible.
That's the main point.
Kurds are predominantly Sunni.
But clearly they are not fanatic Sunnis. They can't get along with ISIS.
So what? We were talking about whether the majority of refugees were Sunni or not.
Strange, the countries they hate the most, is also what the want the most.
Co-inkydink!
I don't think so!
But hey bring them on, this is why we live in a gun country. We're not a country that doesn't allow citizens to arm them selves.
We can bring them here if we can afford them. Then put Pamela Geller in charge of the INS processing. She will give them one of those drawing contest entry forms that must be filled out.
which is expecting to take 800,000 refugees this year.
Jesus Christ, doesn't Germany only have about 80M people? That's like 1% of the entire population in one year.
As Amnesty International recently pointed out, the "six Gulf countries -- Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain -- have offered zero resettlement places to Syrian refugees." This claim was echoed by Kenneth Roth, executive director of Human Rights Watch, on Twitter
People who offer help to refugees - Infidels
People who are smarter than the creator who can rape/murder per their good book - Just following Shariah.

Article on the Houthi and Saudi Arabia. Relevant, because it talks about the Saudis flooding their Shi'a areas with Wahabi Mosques.

Some other shit I didn't know, apparently the Shi'a in SW Saudi Arabia rose up in 2000 and the Saudi Military acted with their usual bravery and advanced in a different direction the moment the guns started firing.
So what? We were talking about whether the majority of refugees were Sunni or not.
The rich gulf countries are Sunni too. What is their excuse?
By the way, remember Merkel not long ago, when there were Local elections to win for CDU:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2735471/Cameron-urged-follow-Merkel-s-lead-passing-new-laws-deport-immigrants-caught-fiddling-benefits-system.html
So, new tough restrictions on internal EU migrants, but welcoming arms and little to no adjudication of 800,000 refugees from the Middle East?
She also famously said in 2010 that "Multiculturalism has failed", again when elections were imminent.
"This multicultural approach, saying that we simply live side by side and live happily with each other has failed. Utterly failed," Merkel said.
Typical untrustworthy Neoliberal.
French former Minister: The Germans took our Jews and gave us Arabs
A French politician did some serious backtracking after making a regrettable comment about Germany’s absorbing hundreds of thousands of Iraqi and Syrian refugees, saying the Germans “took our Jews and gave us Arabs.â€
The controversial remark was made by Patrick Devedjian, identified by European media sources as a right-wing politician who served in the governments of French Presidents Jacques Chirac and Nicolas Sarkozy.
Devedjian made the comment in response to Germany’s agreeing to take 800,000 of the refugees. He later went on social media to dismiss his words as a poor attempt at humor, the Daily Mail reported.
“My humorous jest was misplaced,†he wrote on his Twitter feed.
Any attempt to joke about Germany’s treatment of Jews is doomed to failure, but Devedjian’s “jest†reflected a growing sentiment in Europe over the failure of “multiculturalism.†The continent over the years has seen a large influx of Muslim immigrants who refuse to assimilate in their host countries.
While reporting on President Barack Obama’s critique of Europe’s treatment of Muslim immigrants earlier this year, the magazine Foreign Policy reported that “Europe has struggled with integrating its Muslim immigrants, and recent elections have pushed calls for stricter controls on Muslim immigration and more policing of their communities into the continent’s political mainstream.â€
