Realize, the fictitious Tony Starks was an MIT genius; CIC couldn't even get through the 3rd grade.

This bozo started fights with just about anyone on the forum, contributing nothing of value anywhere.

And finally, Patrick grew tired of his antics and banned his ass from PatNet cyberspace forever.

The old "Ironman" user was inevitably inflammatory and uncivil. This Blue Sardine user does not seem nearly as hostile.

Anyway, my goal is just for users to appropriately use the "uncivil" link by comments to jail uncivil comments. I don't like the work of reviewing them, but it seems necessary.

Easy rule: just try to feel a bit of understanding and good will before you reply to a comment. Everyone will be happier.

Does not work with trolls. There is only one way to deal with trolls, permaban + all delete. That pisses them off because all their trolling effort goes down the drain.

We've seen what happens when real life discussions and presentations are ran like forums where trolls are allowed to reign free. It never works. Let's try running a forum like a real life discussion and debate where the unruly are simply kicked out. There's a reason real life operates like this. It works and it's necessary.
