Noone could ever pretend this was a real charity.

I'd love to see someone try.

This is how Stupidly Entitled the Liberals think they are. Rather than just let the cards fall and call it a day. They put shit on Trump, deflected all of their crimes, dragged White Conservatives into the cat fight. Bedeviled all of the brown people in America to attack White people trying to incite race wars. These people are so fucking Sick it's a wonder they are foaming at the mouth with rabies.

All they really had to do was take their political lumps, let Trump take a whack at the Political process. Wait him out, wait out the storm, then jump back in when he was gone.
They must have really been 100% convinced that Trump would be able to reform Washington and drain the Swamp. They didn't want to risk sitting it out and waiting Trump out. They knew there would be nothing for their kind to go back to after "8" years of Trump.

Marcel "You feel that Sting burning, that's Pride Fucking with ya!"
3   Tenpoundbass   2018 Aug 12, 5:53am

That is to say, had they not pushed back on Trump and deflected. Trump never planned on exposing Senior people in Government regardless how crooked they were. He was just going to stop the graft, corruption and fraud. I don't think he planned exposing everyone that will end up exposed now.

$970k shut down for potential conflict of interests for fundraising... so you mean Trumo did the right thing w a charity 1/400th the size of Clinton foundation.

What.A.Monster.

whose greatest act of charity was buying Trump a portrait of himself

Source?

Is his "scam" worse than a 2% donation ratio and $180 million/yr of pay-to-play donations?

This trump story is a distraction at best. The Clinton Foundation is at the core of corruption, it may still go down in a big way.

Clinton foundation being a mega-scam does not exclude a possibility of Trump foundation being a scam. It also seems that buying painting of a Trump would go together with Trump's self-aggrandizing behavior pretty well. What is bothersome though is that none of so-called mainstream media cover Clinton megascam.

Almost all charities are a financial scam.

There are: 1) charities for the rich - these are charities setup by the rich people for garnering tax benefits, peddling influence, pushing one's political agenda, social engineering, and carrying out corruption - Clinton Foundation and Koch Brothers come in this category, American Red Cross to a large extent 2) charities for the employees - these are charities usually set up by social workers and activities to provide themselves with a living wage so that they don't have to get a real job - these charities are mainly for the benefit for employees who run the charities, and 3) charities for the poor - these are charities that are setup to provide to the poor and the needy - these are rare and difficult to find.

Back int the day, when my financial situation was much better, I used to donate to charities, but then the more I found out about it the more I realized how much of a scam these charities are.
10   marcus   2018 Aug 12, 10:25am

Did anyone ever claim that the single mission or function of the Clinton Foundation was only to take money and channel it to other charities ? You should have taken t a step further and looked at the efficiency ratings for the charities that recieved money from the Clinton Foundation.

If there is Clinton selfishness in the CLinton foundations, it's in the fact that they use their political skills and reputations to get resources devoted to solving very real problems. That gives them the chance to feel that their lives have more meaning and purpose. I guess that's selfish. .

It's inpossible to underestimate the dishonesty of rightwingers. You preach to each other with lies, and say, "yep I know right, can I get an Amen ? Amen brother."

The lengths you go to to believe what you want to believe are astounding. If it's a scam, what is the goal ? To enrich the Clintons ? THe Clintons are rich from books and speaking fees. THey give a lot to the Clinton Family foundation which is not to be confused with the Clinton foundation.

I honestly can't tell whats greater in this statement, the disingenuousness of it, or the complete lack of thought that went in to it. Did you ever spend even one minute researching what the Clinton Foundation is ?

Then you'll probably turn around and say, you can't solve problems by just throwing money at them.

I dated a girl who did this. Of course I learned of her transgressions while dating her. The crazy thing is, she was so stuck on identifying herself with the cause, that she had no problem paying HERSELF AS THE CAUSE.

Well, over the years I wasnt the only one who noticed : https://thedirty.com/city/chicago/jeannette-pawula/#post-2258117

FYI: the guy in the photo w her is Dick Durbans son. He also broke up w her immediately upon learning that 60% of her charity donations went straight into her bank account.

That just shows us that lawyers are better at stealing and cheating and getting away with it. No wonder they can’t find any real dirt on Trump! With the shitty lawyers he hires, he can’t get away with jaywalking! They are literally going full auto cannon after him right now for a POSSIBLE campaign finance violation! Something that isn’t even a misdemeanor is occupying the time of fifty FBI agents and a special counsel. All on the word of a lady of ill repute.

It doesn’t get much more silly than that.

If HIllary hadn't been secretary of state, and run for President, then Bill Clinton and the CLinton Foundation would be seen in a very similar light as the Carter post Presidency has been seen. Maybe even better than Carter becasue of the sheer scale of what he's done with the Clinton foundation, and the ways in which Clinton has applied his charms and political skills toward good works.

It's politics above all else that clouds your ability to reason.

It's okay Fort Wayne, you've proven yourself repeatedly to be about as gullbible and programable by right wing bullshit as anyone I have ever even heard of.

Well, we won't look at the fact they they donate a million dollars to the foundation, pay 36% ($360K) less on their taxes, then they get the CF to pay of all their travel and expenses FREE, which actually gives them a "double dip" on their money. Yep, no enrichment there....

marcus says

A scam where they use their influence to pad their personal slush-fund bank account at The CF? Yep, we know what it is.

Simple 101 balance sheet math.

But shouldn't we be comparing the $5.1 million with total expenses and not total revenue, since they didn't spend all the revenue?

That's the WHOLE problem. They DIDN'T spend all the revenues for charitable purposes, but held on to them for more of the scam expenses.

Yeah Marcus makes a good point. Its the Clinton led initiatives that need to be investigated. Also, disingenuous to suggest their grants are the charitable work.

The Wikileaks evidence, combined w the fact that both poor and rich countries pulled out when Clinton lost election are totally sketch. However, we can not suggest a 3% cause donation ratio from the numbers.

This stupidity has been debunked so many times. CIC got totally spanked on this one a couple years ago. It was even the same exact article. . .

The foundation runs it's own charity work. That's why there are 486 people on payroll. They are all over the world DOING charitable work. Here is the actual audited financial statement from 2016 (2017 audited isn't posted yet).https://www.clintonfoundation.org/sites/default/files/clinton_foundation_report_public_2016.pdf Feel free to got to page 22 note 10 and look at where the money was actually spent. There was 138 million spent for the health initiative alone providing health care to 11 million people in 33 countries in one year . . Why not compare that to trump foundation making political contributions, paying his lawyers, and buying art work for his golf courses.

The clintons are sleazebags, but the foundation is highly regarded. Charity Navigator gives it a top rating. The IRS accepts the numbers every year. But then again the IRS knows what a form 990 is and how to read it unlike the patnet "experts".

Yeah I agree w you for once (grudgingly).

The sketchyness regarding the Clinton Foundation isnt their charity navigator form 990 numbers. I do think there is massive corruption there, as evidenced by Wikileaks and countries pulling their investments. However, the numbers in their filings look fine.
