We wanted to make sure we would be prepared for the worst case scenario in the event we did have a spike in the coronavirus in Texas. Well it turned out all these forecasts that were made about all the dire circumstances and results that could have existed here—like what we saw in New York, like what we saw in New Jersey, like what we saw in some other states—they didn’t happen in Texas. As a result, we have an abundance of hospital rooms, we have an abundance of PPE, we have an abundance of availability for doctors and nurses to go back to work and begin to perform procedures that their patients desperately need.

This is awesome. You're going to see a ton of red states reopen, which will force blue states to reopen.

SF recorded 20 new cases yesterday, or less than 2% of the total of 1157. How Newsom can keep this on lockdown beyond May 1st is beyond any sanity and common sense. They need at least a partial reopening by end of April.

Joe Pilot is an amazing guy: Naval Aviator turned Pediatrician with I think 5 kids. Twitter suspended him a few weeks ago for telling the truth about Coronavirus, even though he's a multidecade practicing Physician, while they let totally unqualified Blue Checks spread disinformation, panic, and fear.

The owner of Jackson's Blue Ribbon Pub in Wauwatosa said he will open the dining room to the public on May 1, in defiance of the governor's safer-at-home order that bans dining in at least until May 26.

Dan Zierath told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that the pub would enforce social distancing and take other precautions, such as questioning customers at the door if they've been exposed to COVID-19 or if they have fevers, but he was determined to proceed.

"I feel like our constitutional rights are being taken from us. And I’m just not willing anymore. What’s going to happen is going to happen," he said.

https://www.fox10phoenix.com/news/protesters-rally-at-arizona-capitol-to-open-the-state-back-up-amid-covid-19-pandemic

PHOENIX - Protesters surrounded the Arizona State Capitol Sunday morning but in a different kind of way.

They rallied from inside their cars calling for Governor Doug Ducey to reopen the state during the coronavirus pandemic.

They say they want to get back to work after being ordered to stay home.

From noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, you could hear the message loud and clear. As we continue to see a rise in COVID-19 cases, demonstrators told state leaders to get out of their way.

The horns didn't stop for hours as protesters proudly waved the American Flag in traffic. It was gridlock traffic they purposely created to make a statement, calling it “Operation Gridlock Arizona.”

“We’re here to liberate Arizona," said organizer Bill Way. "Governor Ducey, flip the switch.”

Why it's pure coincidence that all of the TDS Sufferers consistently exaggerate and push the Andromeda Strain Covid19 is the most dangerous EVA! Narrative.

I still don't understand any place with beaches shutting them down. You'd have to be sucking a strangers mouth in that setting. It's contagious, but not that much so. I also don't think 80 year olds are bringing the keg to the beach with their nursing home buddies in tow.

Let the young people hang and have fun. At least they're consuming something producing tax dollars versus sucking them out of us through medical bill and SS.

Indeed.

Viruses that become too lethal rapidly eliminate themselves along with the host.

For investment purposes I hope you do well. I cannot stand chain restaurants though. It simply isn't good food. I'm legit not joking that 30% of my anger over all this BS is that I can't eat at my local independent restaurants and I fear they may not open back up. The people I know losing jobs.... ugh. It's bullshit.

I'm not fat either. Eat probably healthier than most at home and we cook great stuff (per past party guest), but still like to get out 2-3 times a week for lunch or dinner. This sucks right now.

I also prefer mom and pops. Esp. for Italian and Chinese. I never understood Carraba's, Olive Garden, etc. Must be a Midwest/Cali thing. I never heard of LA or Minneapolis being famous for their Italian Cuisine.

I also don't get Pizza Hut or Domino's either. Shit Pizza!

Who the fuck wants to watch a movie in a drive-in theater? Old people looking for nostalgia? You're watching the screen through your windshield. That sucks.

Anyway, the point is that a lot of businesses that revolve around crowds like theaters, restaurants, nightclubs, bars will be closed for some time. I don't see how they can open any time soon. They might not even open during the summer.

Some people have no sport. If you were to go, you would see lots of teens, families with children, as well as the "old." People often sit next to the cars in lawn chairs, in the back of minivans with the gate open, and in pickup beds with a keg. Oft times they pay a classic movie along with the current releases. It is like a big outdoor party. This is how it was last time I went with the wife and kid, about 3 years ago. I just checked online and 2 Drive Inns here in VA plan to open around May 1st.

I'm just outside of Atlanta. Rush hour has been gone. I could get anywhere in the metro in minutes. It's picking up now, but I think it'll be a slow wind back up.

Why do leftoids hate America and want to see economic calamity?!

Like Bill Mahr said, he would not mind bringing on a recession if that is what it took to get rid of a President he doesn't like. Unlike Bill Mahr, certain Dem governors have to ability to try to bring on that recession by continually postponing return to work. The Biden campaign is already trying to blame Trump for a down economy.

Of course they do.

They have a beautiful dream of eliminating all wars and employing the poor around the world, by eliminating all borders and all patriotism.

Unfortunately, they are wrong. Eliminating borders simply exposes that country to infection and death by countries that are more aggressive, global corporations, and illegals.

It's like cutting off all your skin to be "one with nature". You'll die, and quickly, 100% guaranteed. Infectious bacteria will do VERY well though, at least until the host dies (The infectious bacteria in this case are other countries, global corporations, and bogus "migrant" men looking for easy cash and easy pussy.)

It's like a song we learned at U. Michigan in Yiddish class (took one semester of it pass/fail for kicks, from Anita Norich - hi Anita if you're out there, was a good class):

"Alluh menshen seynen brider
Vaysah shvartsah gelah broynah"
S'iz an oysgetrakte my-suh...

"All people are brothers
White black yellow brown"
It's a made-up fairy tale...
