I always supported Nader every time he ran, and as far Socialists go, he's the only flavor of it I can stomach. His idea of Socialism, is not killing Capitalism, but making sure Capitalism doesn't kill us. We have car safety because of him. Also at the time he ran for office, he was the only candidate that spoke out against our Jobs going over seas, and he aimed to prevent that. He did it without hyping more Unions, he believed in creating better work conditions, and holding companies accountable for their products, without Unions or more bureaucracy. His brand of Socialism was so great, that Democrats were threatened by him, and the last time he ran, they successfully weaponized the courts and law enforcement against him to blackball him from debates and prevented the media from promoting him.

Also his green energy policies were about consumer sentiment and conscience, he never suggested a ministry of Green Energy to destroy capitalism. He touted personal choices over Government intervention.

Today they would call him a Libertarian.

As I have lamented forever, Soccer is a front to sneak in Communism under the guise of Socialism. I call it commie ball where it goes Communist soon follow.

Ralph Nader is calling out NYT for prioritizing Soccer over Baseball.

Well Soccer, football, ruby, basketball are all stupid games. Especially American football which is played outside the field by people in suit who never set foot on the ground. The players are just dumb move executioners! Baseball and Cricket have class!

While never having the desire to play sports myself, I get why people want to partake in friendly games of Sportsmanship.
What I don't get, is all of the sorry fucks that would sit around for hours watching them.

I have always had a disdain for Soccer, since the hype over Pele. He was a mediocre player by todays standards, the over hype on him was to try to wean American kids off American sports. My father picked up on that, and cautioned Soccer way back then. It seemed reasonable and I have continued that position all my life. The last decade or so, only confirmed both our suspicions.

And to anyone that has the desire to kick a ball around on a field, and showing off some fancy footwork. I welcome your desire to do so. I don't support the notion, that you need a NGO body that puts provisions on Countries in order to play Soccer. Fuck FIFA and their Commie backers behind the front!

Nader was a decent person. Anybody that is authentic is a breath of fresh air.

I have my suspicions about Tulsi Gabbard. Same with DeSantis.

One thing DeSantis has in spades over Trump. Is DeSantis knows their moves before them and says. "No! You're not going to do that! You're not going to weaponize your office to inflict your personal political views and will on the Floridians, or against the Governor trying to stop them."

Where as Trump being the 19th hole braggart that he is, always welcomed the rules changing on him, and humoring folks in the Government trying to assert made up authority over his office and authority. He granted everyone that tried, from petty Marxist Judge moles, to lowly Congressional staffers. Everyone was free to challenge Trump's authority and he just took it.

That's the difference in DeSantis and Trump. How ever Trump was great on Foreign policy and economic policy even if he sucked at domestic policy and dealing with palace intrigue. We're going to need Trump to give America a quickie and restore our economy and trade. Beside that's what America needs, it needs a coalition of America first candidates to get to Washington to not only support Trump. But they need to be the ones making America first domestic policy laws and passing them to his desk. Then and ONLY then will America or the world really see what Trump is made of. Would he sign them into law or would out of petty spite veto them, because he doesn't like anyone singing Donald Trump cover tunes. It's his schtick and he seems to pick the biggest RINO creeps to avoid having to share one second in the MAGA spotlight with anyone. We need him to get in and out in four years.

In the meantime Florida more than America needs Trump right now, needs DeSantis to stay where he is, and continue to draw lines in the sand and reestablish boundaries against the overreach of the Federal Government. All of America needs every Governor willing to do that, to do just that. Presidents comes and goes, but the boundaries DeSantis could establish/reestablish will endure for another century. No matter how far off the rails the Federal government goes. We need state governments willing to push back against unconstitutional overreach of the Fed Gov.

When Trump is through with his next term, and DeSantis has gone as far as he can go as Florida Gub, then DeSantis will be the next president.

But his true test of his intention and his legacy will be judged on the coalition he builds within the Florida GOP to have someone that can continue on the groundwork he lays.

Hopefully he's building a movement to go along with it, and he isn't just up there marketing his brand, and calculating his next move. That would be bad for any successful Government servant. To leave office, and the only thing to show for it is people like Nancy Pelosi and Mitt Romney running in the outgoing election.

I would call it squandered. Let's hope Trump and DeSantis has some teamwork in mind with people they trust., and are willing to run the gauntlet to support them. Even in the face of the radical media and manufactured dissent.

Like Trump was too quick to dismiss his short lists he had when he came in office. And then accepted the Swamp rats they sent him. Knowing full well they were sent to sink him.

100% agreed. Trumps weakness was to try to change the game after it had been played instead of stopping them from changing the rules and cheating. Too much loudmouth, not enough action.
