Signal is NOT a secure app. It uses a server which is entirely unnecessary. You don't need this for communication, you can do this with P2P. Anything that has a server in the middle should be assumed to be insecure. It allows a man in the middle attack.

Plenty of services claim end to end encryption - Skype does, WhatsApp does - they are LYING.

For god's sake, I wish people would realize this. There's no way to authenticate that you are actually talking to the person you think you're talking to with a non P2P system, you could be talking to a man in the middle, and the man in the middle just relays the message to the person you THINK you're talking to.

Independent journalist Matt Taibbi has warned that he believes the federal government is trying to censor most Big Tech companies, including Facebook and Google.

Taibbi is one of the journalists tasked by Elon Musk to expose social media censorship by detailing his findings in several installments of the “Twitter Files.”

After taking over the company in late October, Musk has given a handful of reporters exclusive access to Twitter’s internal communications files.

The files have revealed a disturbing culture of censorship that has seen American citizens, mostly conservatives, shut down and silenced on Twitter over their political views.

In a direct violation of the First Amendment, the files show that Twitter executives had been colluding with federal government officials to suppress free speech on the platform.

However, Taibbi has warned that his findings show that the government’s censorship efforts are not just limited to Twitter.

Speaking during a new interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson, Taibbi says the “Twitter Files” reveal that the government was also trying to sway speech on other platforms like Facebook and Google.

“In relative terms, Twitter is a smaller player,” Carlson said to Taibbi.

“You have Facebook and Google that dwarf it in size.

“We’ve got to assume that those two companies are as penetrated as Twitter has been, don’t we?”

Ernest Ramirez says he wanted to do the right thing for his son, so he decided to have 16-year-old Ernesto take the COVID-19 vaccine.

After all, what was the harm? Ramirez was told the vaccine was 100 percent safe.

Five days later, on April 24, 2021, his son died from complications related to an enlarged heart, Ramirez told LifeSiteNews.

Soon after his son’s death, Ramirez says, he received a call from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. According to him, agency officials asked him to change the cause of death for his son to “COVID.”

Ramirez says they offered to help him financially in exchange for doing so. ...

“Seven months later, after FEMA contacted me and asked me to change the cause of death [of] my son to COVID so that they could help me financially, I told them I would never do that,” he said at the rally.

“I would definitely never disrespect my son in that way.”

FEMA’s website says the agency provides as much as $9,000 toward funeral expenses in cases where “death was attributed to COVID-19.
