Seriously, when has a government agency ever tried to dictate where a company makes its products? I can’t ever remember it happening. Neither can Boeing, which is fighting the complaint. J. Michael Luttig, Boeing’s general counsel, has described the action as “unprecedented.” He has also said that it was a disservice to a country that is “in desperate need of economic growth and the concomitant job creation.” He’s right.

I've come to the conclusion that ALL media is full of Crap, and our Blogs, and opinionated posts in a threads, are just as valid or bunk as any News article these days.

Any time I have a gripe I want to complain about, I have to dig up a article that some news site already posted before it can be taken seriously.

And here all along, the news sites don't report until some Online nut-job posts a tare about it.

BUT they say THEY fact check. Which would explain why CNN articles are short of any facts. More and more their articles rarely go beyond a Headline blurb.

I think at this point the inertia of finding jobs with out actually creating jobs. Is greater than the ability or will to actually create jobs. We've become locked into a Ouroboros economic cycle. The economy seems to be growing in months and quarters where there should have been none.

Everyone is working and contributing to their 401K, and they are all contributing to the few same Corporations. These few companies, show the only glimmer of hope, until that our government and bipartisan in this effort, feels they need to coddle and promote those companies less they are too big to fail. The Government ignores small business. Because small business growth is slower to measure and realize than the real time NYSE and NASDAQ updates.
These companies are under extreme pressure to cut cost and raise profits and outlooks on a constant basis. SO much so, they don't hire, they can't. Half of Ameirca's retirement plan depends on it.
Companies post losses, people freak some take money out, stock craters. Same people sees the lower prices as a bargain and buys even more. In the mean time companies knee jerk and cut divisions, and lay off hundreds if not thousands.
Our Government helps by subsidizing failure corporations so the 401K pensioners can keep the VIX, CPI and CCI index in balance, giving the illusion we're actually growing.

Any chance when we are actually growing, and the Energy market defeats that growth by those same pensioners, wall street and those in Washington ignoring the obvious, jumping in and creating a bubble in Oil prices.

Destroys the three indexes, and rinse and repeat.

We're all swallowing our own tails.

We need to let companies stand on their own legs, and let competition grow and take place, to create jobs.

Ignoring the shrek-ism, what do you think of our government attempting to tell Boeing where they can run their business? I don't see this much flak going to Apple manufacturing their stuff overseas - do you? What's the difference?

You got to know people in the right places.

This might also describe it:

Come on guys - you right wing shills already know the answer. I want to hear either "I agree this is ridiculous" or some answer from a left wing shill. The silence has been deafening from the left on this one.

You mean this Boeing?

Probably 90 cents on every dollar Boeing ever made was a direct result of a defense contract and airline/airport subsidies in general, which the Federal Government has spent hundreds of billions on over the past few decades.

Are you saying the union is attempting to keep Boeing from production in China by suing them for building their stuff in another state? That's not an answer I thought I would get.

Hitler broke up the labor unions.
