"Why Obama

Fellow Republicans,

For decades, our politics have become increasingly polarized, as elected officials cater to the most extreme elements of their parties, and media companies work to shock, amuse and divide us. In the meantime, the problems we face grow as they are passed on to future generations."

Lol. The only news link they have is to msnbc, an unabashed propaganda machine for the democrat party. At least Fox runs hard news during the day, and at least O'Reily lets people speak.

2   Ceffer   2012 Oct 26, 1:27pm

I think they changed it to "Fellow Republican" when they found out there were only two people in the organization.

3   HEY YOU   2012 Oct 26, 1:30pm

FOX is an unabashed propaganda machine for the Republic party.

4   FuckTheMainstreamMedia   2012 Oct 26, 2:50pm

HEY YOU says

FOX is an unabashed propaganda machine for the Republic party.

I mean, lets tell the truth here(though I'm pretty sure you don't actually care what the truth is).

The truth is that Fox runs hard news all day long

Hannity, Greta, O'Reily, Fox and Friends....those are entertainment shows for sure, with three of the four being basically straight propaganda.

Nearly the entirety of MSNBC's lineup is propaganda.

5   HEY YOU   2012 Oct 26, 6:07pm

The truth.
The entirety of Fox's lineup is propaganda.

Sadly, no:

Roger Ailes Admits That The White House Might Have ‘Legitimate Complaints’ About Fox News

And

And direct to the point of the comment:

Fox Admits to CNN That It Traffics in Opinion Not News

So why are you defending them for something they've repeatedly admitted they're not?

Dodger fan, please don't let your country be fucked over by a gang of trolls who want nothing more than to bleed your pansy ass dry. I'm paraphrasing here but...

7   thomaswong.1986   2012 Oct 26, 6:56pm

traffic for website doesnt even exist.

the OBAMAtrons are down to the last week/days of their existence...

8   FuckTheMainstreamMedia   2012 Oct 27, 2:15am

LOL Kent.

Keep that tin foil hat going.........

*hint...if you are trying to convince someone of something, at least cite legitimate sources.

9   kentm   2012 Oct 27, 2:31am

Citing sources that originate directly from the mouth of roger ailes is not 'trying to convince' anyone of anything, it's simply citing sources that originate directly from the mouth of roger ailes. Foxes philosophy on the truth is well documented and understood.

As for the website, whatever, I have no idea nor do I really care what it is or how much traffic it gets. I thought the words were telling enough, for any of you who bothered to read them.

You guys are like children, there's nothing more to be said on it.

10   FuckTheMainstreamMedia   2012 Oct 27, 3:25am

You cited a supposed quote from an unverifiable source....

Not to mention it was from an interview supposedly four years old.

Talk about acting/thinking like a child.

LOL.

Logic and fact are valued quite highly. You provided neither.

This is simply untrue. They weave complicated, factual arguments. They have Republicans as guests. They appeal to your intellectual capabilities, rather than Fox's ID-based passion.

"Is Obama a Communist? Or just a socialist? Find out after the break when we have big-haired intellectual lightweight with too much make up on to spit her pre-digested food in your mouth".

Both fox and msnbc's business models fall far short of having an objective risk/reward analysis of policies/proposals/legislations. We need to have a professorial show where potential pros and cons of issues are discussed. Instead, we largely have emotionally driven content which first of all does not truly inform the listener and additionally tragically increases the odds that people will continue to fall for wedge issues and vote against their rational self interest.

hills - I'm not quoting Michael Savage, he is not broadcast where I live...or I don't know what station he's on. Either way I don't listen to him.

If anything, he's quoting ME!

Honest Abe.

Okay yeah, you're right, what was I thinking. Fox is a 100 percent legit news source only with no bias or editing. They've never claimed to be "infotainment". It's not commonly understood and accepted that fox operates as a wing of the Republican Party. Roger Ailes has no connection with right wing politics or the republican effort. No one has written book long expose's of the inner working and affiliations of the directors or newscasters. There had never been Republican Party members presented as independent analysts. And sean hannity had not gone 3 and a half years since describing water boarding as a "dunking" and said he would do it on air to show how harmless it is. None of this has never happened and I see it now that my claim of bias in fox is as you say, silly.

If logic and fact were valued highly we would live in a very different world, and your posts would reflect that. Sadly we do not. Instead we live in a world where people imagine that Fox News is an honest and unbiased source of information and people like you try to convince themselves and others it is so in mocking tones.

19   upisdown   2012 Nov 1, 11:06pm

Didn't Fox news win a court case on the grounds that they don't have to tell truthful or valid news stories?

20   upisdown   2012 Nov 2, 1:26am

Media, or "news" is fact based and doesn't tell their watchers to "decide".

Decide what? Whether or not they're just making it up altogether or lying, or trying to push an agenda over facts.
