The Socialist Brain of a Liberal Democrat

Am I the only one who notices the irony of this political cartoon in indicating how fucked up the ultra conservative set of values is? For instance, notice that the conservatives refer to the frontal lobe -- you know the center of thought and reasoning -- as "a tumor".

And they imply that patriotism is very important and lacking in liberals, but compassion for your fellow countryman does not even make the chart. Shouldn't that be a small circle in the brain scan, too?

And the graphic implies that recognizing moral gray areas is a bad thing. Well, you know what. There are moral gray areas in life. How childish is your morality if you don't recognize this? And if morality is as important as conservatives say, why isn't the ability to feel guilt a good thing? Isn't guilt your conscious telling you something?

Well, I made my own graph of what the Tea Bagger brain looks like.

You must have not gotten the memo. The whole Democrat vs. Republican or Conservative vs. Liberal thing is just a distraction to keep your focus away from the things that really matter such as privatization of gains and socialization of losses. Look more carefully at what is going on around you! Rooting for Democrats or Liberals is like rooting for your hometown football team. Makes you feel good but where does it get us?

Just because I'm rooting against the Tea Party and most Republicans, doesn't mean I'm rooting for the Democrats. My enemy's enemy could also be an asshole.

I love the re-work of the graphic. It's really very well done.

Sure, it's not productive to simply takes sides, but it might help to study the perceived differences between right and left and how the 1% exploits the differences to enslave us.

Why did this old thread get moved to jail? Doesn't attack individual users and the criticism of both parties is mostly based on facts, certainly the conservative brain is.

See this is the difference in how I view both parties and how our two party society view each other. I don't think there's a "Bleeding Heart" chromosome left in any party. All social issues are purely about economics, and not for the betterment of the intended target.
IF that were ever the case, we would have ended poverty in this country a long time ago. Our political humanitarian efforts are all about either one of two things. Either political feathers, or profit. And political feathers are all about profits down the road. Books and Seminars or even to move in poll position for an even greater office to exploit.

Same thing for the Teabagger/Republican, in this country its damn near impossible to be racist, in any societal context, yet still this token political favorite loves being tossed around. But in the meantime Middle Aged White males have the hardest go of it, than any class in this country right now. Especially when you factor in the numbers that have been unemployed for long term, and or have left the job market. **There's plenty of White Americans in this country that are in the same poverty level, as the poorest of the blacks or Hispanics in this country. No one on either side gives a rats ass about them.

The Teabaggers try to speak to that lot, and not just the Whites but no matter how much Liberals deny it, there's a considerable black TP members and certainly there's a black Conservative demographic.

Poor all races and and social classes try to choose a party they think will do the most for their situation. But make no mistake both parties politicians are singing a song to get these voters for their own personal gains, not for their constituents. There's not one damn politician that has addressed their constituents on the Internet(which has really kicked the negative sentiment about both parties into hyperdrive) to stop with the negative attacks on each other. In fact that's the whole premise behind the Super PACs.

I really wish it did come down to Racists or Socialists political choices in every election. What we actually have is even more sinister than that. Racist and Socialists haven't been popular in the last 30-40 years. We have less to fear of that lot, than we do Corporate lordships and a feudalism at the HR and Shipping and Receiving to be in compliance with federal mandated corporate code 666.

You Knuckleheads keep it up, keep your eye on the birdie, your fixing to get sucker punched.

**That being said, I'm not sitting here and doing the White victim speech, more in recent years, we're all be coming equal Assholes. Blacks are being called out more and more for pulling the Race card. These days there's a greater chance the the negative backlash for the invoker than there is for intended target of the accusation. And it's about time we Whites stop blaming people for taking our Jobs, we're all in the same boat, and I'm just trying to point that out. Though our politicians would never want you to believe that. Nor would the bleeding heart liberals(did I just say that?). Well OK not the Liberals as an Idea.
