Not in the Seattle area. The property managers think they're giving people a deal by discounting the rent by a couple hundred dollars, in return for having to move out at the drop of a hat.
That might actually be the Republican plan for housing: (1) cut taxes on the top 1% of income earners; (2) they buy 10 houses each and let their friends and family live there as caretakers. The issue is, most people would rather afford their own place to live. Those people are just unreasonable I guess, they've got to get with the new economic program of "helping homeowners" brought to us by Bubbles Ben.
