From Freddie Mac’s weekly survey the 30-year fixed rate home loan improved to 3.34 percent and .7 point from last week’s 3.35 percent and .7 point. The 15-year fixed also dropped 1 basis point to 2.64 and .7 point from last week’s 2.65 percent and .7 point. The 5-year ARM moved up 1 basis point to 2.71 percent and .6 point from last week’s rate of 2.70 percent.
