I had this same problem in western Ireland. It often takes a while before you can tell if someone is speaking Irish Gaelic, which has zero overlap with English, or speaking English with a heavy Irish accent.

Yes, apparently like the related language Hawiian, which also uses P for F.

A "half non-Hawaiian" is "hapa haole".

Got it, at first I thought you had a independent 3rd party inspecting the exit point with each trip to the toilet.

It also pays to be able to distinguish to some degree what blood you are looking at it. Not all of it is cause for alarm.
