What's the coolest thing you never thought you'd need for your iPad, and now that you have it can't live without?

Best kid toy ever. Keeps the little buggers occupied watching Netflix and playing app games for hours.

LOL - check Merriam-Webster's #1 definition of buggers. I hope they got a chance to watch the re-elected President's Inaugural Address.

The thought of exposing my own children to even the IDEA of homosexual sex is absolutely abhorrent to me.

Glad to see they figured it out on their own. Maybe there's an app for that?

[Bart's looking for his dog]
Willy: Yeah, I bought your mutt - and I 'ate 'im.
[Bart gasps]
Willy: I 'ate 'is little face, I 'ate 'is guts, and I 'ate the way 'e's always barkin'. So I gave 'im to the church.
Bart: Ohhh, I see... you HATE him, so you gave him to the church.
Willy: Aye. I also 'ate the mess he left on me rug.
[Bart stares]
Willy: Ya heard me.

The Vtech Tote & Go is a way better distraction for the money. It gets chicks, too!

Good to know. Thanks!

What about hard assets..like bluetooth keyboards or cases? I wonder if I've been neglecting those things, for myself and for the family people I've given them to.

(Side note: I recently started clicking on the iTunes U school things. Pretty neat, really. I think those Khan Academy type things might be coming to maturity:

Here's one on QE! :)

There's not a lot of difference between say an Ipad or Asus, like Nexus.
On one of those platforms, the OS is supplied by an advertising company.
And let's not forget those apps. It's 10pm, does Angry Birds know where you are?

Someday, one day mark my word. someone is going to install Android on their iPad. And that will be the coolest thing ever.

This is one of the reasons I went with the Asus Transformer, the keyboard dock. A physical keyboard is a "cool thing" that I can not do without. It makes it much easier to use my tablet as a productivity tool.
