Shouldn't there be some serious disclosure here?

This house is for sale:

It's also the same house featured in this article, right next to an electrical substation from So Cal Edison, which is supposedly causing all kinds of health issues for this woman.

What do you think the realtor will tell people? Maybe they think the power lines in the background of the pic is enough disclosure?

This is insane. Someone should call the listing agent and see what the agent says to downplay it. Then post a transcript of the call here.

Asking a REA to behave in an ethical manner is like asking a crack addict not to smoke crack.

Just under $1M for 1600/6000 sqft? And in the shadow of an electrical substation at that? That buyer deserves cancer! Hopefully before breeding.

Wow. Sold. Was it the electrical company or an investor? It's insane that someone would pay $968K to live there.

robertoaribas says

how do you know what the seller disclosed to the buyer? If they didn't disclose a material defect, they are wide open for a lawsuit...

Its kind of hard to miss a substation right next door. Or the busy street right next to THAT.

Even if the buyer was a rich oversees investor there's Google maps.
