The US Treasury has already exceeded the federal legal borrowing limit of $16.7 trillion in May. That signals the main structural problems remain unresolved putting at risk the fragile recovery.

We won the cold war by outspending the Soviets on military expenditures and driving them to bankruptcy. Now, we are using the same strategy to eliminate ourselves. I suspect it will be just as successful. Here's to winning the war against America!
