Do I just think I would never cheat on a spouse or girlfriend ? I did once long ago, sort of.

So, not a psycho -- just a (sort of) scumbag.

I tested 15% -- I'm an out-n-out mamby pamby motherfucker.

Surprised nobody is calling out the UK angle from this one. The only options for news sources were "Financial Times", "The Guardian", and "HELLO" magazine. Brits have such a janky sense of humour! They purposely left out Fox News, Russian Times, and The Rachel Maddow Comedy Hour (*my* preferred educational sources).

Apparently, I'm no psychopath, just a winey asshole.

Neither featured the great Bobby Caldwell on drums, though Captain Beyond's first LP did feature Rod Evans, from Deep Purple.

Unfortunately, I bet this is true. Why is it easier to take advantage of good and supposedly sane people? That could be part of the problem with our world. Maybe we should set up cultures and laws that make it harder to take advantage of well-meaning individuals? Maybe we should stop validating and rewarding psychopath behavior? Maybe we should all pretend that there is only one world to rape and destroy and only one human race to keep healthy and happy? Is it really survival of the fittest, or survival of the most defective and mutated? I think the mentally sick and destructive are the survivors in our modern culture. I would certainly be more "successful" if I had screwed people over and did some good old fashion stealing, or even better enslaving. I guess there is only power and those to weak to seek it. I am kind and therefore weak, so me and my offspring certainly deserve to die or be enslaved.

I'm torn between Tower Of Power, Oingo Boingo, The Beatles, Paul Butterfield Blues Band, The Duke Ellington Orchestra, Pink Floyd, Poncho Sanchez, The Yardbirds, and The Ventures.

Additionally there are great singers, writers, arrangers, guitarists, trumpeters, sax men, bassists, percussionists and drummers but those are the bands. They each rule and their kingdoms remain unchallenged.

A lot of big hair bands would do better if they had greater quantity of top drawer material to play.

Of course there are a lot of great guitarists too, but these are bands.

HIGHLY IRRELEVANT FOOTNOTE
During the 1950's the Spike Jones orchestra ruled the TV and silver screen in Hollywood along with Henri Mancini Orchestra and Nelson Riddle Orchestra, but those don't count as youth music bands by which we are apt to self-identify thereby implying the heights of our formerly glorious youthful years of greater freedom so as to bask in the reflected glory their celebrity and to those sweet memories we all swear our undying loyalty.

I guess I could go either way. It's no surprise to me as I've actively studied sociopaths for several years. It's a spectrum thing, so the test does well in revealing tendencies rather than absolutes. Of course, if someone were to score very high they'd know why they felt different than everyone else. And they'd also never reveal this. True sociopaths understand how to hide, sheep's clothing is just the beginning.

Here's a new thought for this thread. Since sociopaths have innate abilities that make them more competitive for resources and mates (usually), and drug/alcohol use can dull the conscience of a normal empathic person, is this the reason why some are driven to substance abuse? Are we driven to suppress the conscience or superego that is holding us back from making the decisions we feel would take us where we want to go?

Ha! Are you projecting?

I doubt if I'm that slick or diabolical, even subconsciously. I tried to answer quickly but dithered on one of the questions -- I think it was the one about trading up if someone better came along. That's just fucked to me, but I have done it before. I actually wanted a higher score than what I got. I don't consider myself a lamb by any measure.

I'm a nice fucking guy, Marcus. Goddamn you all over the place for suggesting anything otherwise!

Legend has it that only the best session musicians were allowed to perform with Spike Jones and I believe it too, those silly assed arrangements were some of the most musically challenging imaginable .. come to think of it, I wonder how seriously Spike Jones influenced Frank Zappa! .. my buddy has a hardbound coffee table book on Frank Zappa, and I bet this subject is in there somewhere.

Do you really think that Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Eddie Amin, Abraham Lincoln, Richard Nixon, Woodrow Wilson, Napolean, etc, etc give a rats fuck consequently requiring relief, Absolutely not, the best therapy for these guys is a bullet or two or three in the skull.

YOUR
SCORE 100%
You can play hardball with the best of them! You know what you want and are not afraid to go for it – even if it means bending the rules occasionally and putting a few noses out of joint on the way. Nothing fazes you. You are decisive, self-confident and pretty much up for anything. You are a ‘means-to-an-end’ person. For you, it’s not necessarily a matter of right or wrong, but of what gets the job done. ‘Bring it on’ is your mantra, but to help those around you keep their heads, you should learn some tricks to help you temper your self-satisfying tendencies...

The Realtor psychopath test by hiring agencies has a single question:

Are you, or are you not, a raging, baby murdering, slimy, lying, stealing, conniving, worthless sack of shit in white shoes and a flannel suit (dress) driving a stolen Mercedes?

Realtor Answer: No, trust me!

You're hired!
