I miss the old days, when scandals like there were worth millions.

I'm getting tired of hearing about some jackass that embezzled 10, 20 40 100K, and it makes bigger news than if someone took off with England's crown jewels. Legal businesses steal more than that every day, just in fees they can't explain but really don't have to, because it's on the bill you owe it.

Last month I paid off my Best Buy card I used over the Holidays.
Yesterday my wife looks and there's a $40 owed plus $5.00 interest on the 0 balance, but since my wife and I thought we paid that bill off last month, neither one of us saw it. SO by time my wife saw it yesterday, by accident, we were already past due, and another $25 late fee was added.

So you pay off a CC balance, you think you're all done, but the next month you get the bill for the interest of a portion of that previous period when you paid it off but before you did.

They had a hard time explaining it with a straight face. I threatened to call Elizabeth Warren and they laughed at me.
