Supreme Court rules in lawsuit against Target • The businesss common law duty does not impose such an obligation Try not to have a heart attack while shopping at Target or any other store in California. The store might not have an automatic external defibrillator -- and the California Supreme Court says it doesnt have to.
What a crap lawsuit, and I feel the plaintiff now deserves public ridicule over the likely causative factors- diet, exercise, and health maintenance including regular check-ups.
Target owed the customer an immediate heart transplant. If that is not available, millions and millions of dollars to the family and dirtbag lawyers will do.
I saw one of these automatic external defibrillators at a museum the other day. I wasn't aware that very many businesses had them available and was surprised to see one attached to the wall at a non-profit foundation.
Does Target get to take a shit on the guy's face, since he lost and stuff?
