In this episode of the Keiser Report, Max Keiser and Stacy Herbert discuss the impending second wave of the lastest mortgage crisis, this time due to Helocs (Home equity lines of credit) and HAMP (Home Affordable Modification Program) interest rate resets. But since affordability has never been better, this 'crisis' will blow over. Housing never follows fundamentals and always goes up

Despite all the gloom and doom, sold prices on redfin show otherwise. House is the only commodity that defies all the logic and should keep climbing up in value. What was the value of the same house 100 years ago?

Uh, my house is less than 30 years old, so the value versus what the value was 100 years ago is a lot more.

Let's all feel sorry for the class of people who haven't had to pay a single dime, not one thin red cent to their housing in the last 6 years, but are just now being foreclosed on.
