The West and South Americans supported the resolution. The Islamic countries did not. Saudi Arabia even termed the resolution as "Human rights violation"
Well who will protect us from their constant whining and pissing and moaning, when every one they run into doesn't bend over and kiss their asses, for being gay?
BTW define rights?
I still have the right to be repulsed by two gay dudes, and wildly turned on by two gay chicks. I don't care to get confrontational with them, but I still don't want to bake one a birth day cake with a candy dildo on it.
What about everyone else rights?

Yes, you do have that right. I too get repulsed by gay men kissing, but lesbians turn me on.

Well, you can have your rights to not bake a cake or get repulsed, you just can't discriminate them. Most gays don't display affection in public.
What about everyone else rights?
I don't see how your "rights" can be violated by the LGBT community celebrating their personal choice.
Even if a gay man hits on me I would see that as a complement. :-)
But back to the discrimination part.
Have any of you ever walked into a business, looked around, and just didn't like what you saw and then turned around and walked out?
How would you like it, if that business owner took you to court for discriminating against his business?
The guy has the right to refuse a cake, to anyone he wants.
Just as you have the right to walk into a Soul food place and you see a White Dude and some Jewish Hipster up in there trying to make fried catfish with red eye gravy served on cheese grits. You have the right to turn around and leave, you don't have to eat that crap. That's not soul food, it's hipster food.
I walk out of businesses every day, because I find the image of the owner, did not fit what I envisioned the owner being.
I've never walked out of a business because I thought they were a bunch of poofs though. But I have walked out Chinese take order places when I found a Puerto Rican chick behind the counter taking orders and a black dude from the hood on the woc. I expect to see Asian people. I like authentic experiences.
And if I were gay, and I wanted to get married. If I went to a tux/bridal shop or a bakery and they did not want render me service. I wouldn't want an unauthentic experience from them, forced upon them by the courts.
This is more about Pay days for a few than it is about what's right or wrong.
Violence and malice against gays is one thing. But being refused business for anything is the business owner's right.
There is nothing wrong with a sign on the door that says.
"We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone."
Captain, if only you could be funny, you might have a future in comedy.
Gay men kissing is not repulsive at all. On the other hand, crying babies are the most annoying thing in the world.

Both are fine. But I do not care for some Femi-Nazi lesbians.
Saudi Arabia even termed the resolution as "Human rights violation"
Saudi Arabia banned slavery.... in 1962
It still continues of course with Filipina Maids, however... take their passport, make them sleep in the Kitchen, never pay them... etc.
I thought facebook said there was a hundred or more versions of this. Shouldn't there be more letters in the acronym??
We are pleased to see that today the international community is visibly and publicly upholding the rights of LGBT individuals,

Wow, the Saudis never cease to impress me with their superior civilization.
1962 - Wow.
19 refers to the number of intelligent people in Saudi Arabia, and 62 refers to their average IQ.
I'd recommend Lenscrafters for you, but not until october when they have their 2 for 1 special going on....
Even if a gay man hits on me I would see that as a complement. :-)
The resolution is being enforced by immense hirsute lesbians with baseball bats.
Expect some at your front door soon.
And no, they won't go down on each other before they start swinging.
How come it always has to be LGBT? Was there a LGBT convention where they decided this was the way the acronym was always going to be? Were there hurt feelings? How come the Lesbians are always FIRST. Does this mean that lesbians are better than the GBTs, or that the Gs are better than the BTs or the Bs better than the Ts?
I think there is some not so subtle ranking going on here and there are some GBTs, BTs and Ts that ought to be pissed, very pissed, and take some action to reduce or eliminate these inequities.
Inequities, inequalities, and discrimination take many forms, and there is no reason to assume that lesbians are always superior to GBTs, as they are trying to put forward with this acronym terrorism, or that they should always get the acronym the way they want.
Where is the resolution for acronym equality, i would like to know?
Gay men kissing is not repulsive at all.
Wow, I disagree with that, find me a barf bag and then we can continue this discussion.

Worse than fingernails on a chalkboard? It depends on the cry, the volume and how it sounds. No, gay men kissing is MUCH worse (and gross).
But I do not care for some Femi-Nazi lesbians.
Your prejudice and bias is showing through. I declare you a bigot.

The United Nations Human Rights Council adopted a landmark resolution for LGBT rights during its 27th session on Friday, the second-ever motion of its kind. The resolution, which was heavily promoted by the U.S., was sponsored by Uruguay, Colombia, Brazil and Chile. Countries from every geographic region in the world joined as supporters.
The action, which passed by a 25-14 vote margin after more than an hour of debate, condemns violence and discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity across the globe.
“We are pleased to see that today the international community is visibly and publicly upholding the rights of LGBT individuals, and thereby we demonstrate ourselves as a global community respecting the rights of all,†said Ambassador Keith Harper, who represents the U.S. on the U.N. Human Rights Council.
