They have people listed whose claim to fame is that they're an 'ex National Geographic journalist' - whatever that means and " a Computer Science graduate from Purdue University."

There is a reason these people are called transhumorists. Writing about 'The Singularity' is about as scientifically valid as writing about The Rapture.
