As an atheist you should be glad you know nothing about religion. It's a damn waste of time.
Once again, you demonstrate a complete lack of reasoning abilities. One studies history not to repeat it, but rather to prevent the mistakes of history from being repeated.
Religion effects the laws we have to obey, the education of our children, the policies of government, whether or not we go to war, and many important things that it should not effect. Ignoring this problem does not make it go away. Vocal atheists are vocal precisely because they know a lot about religion and its perverse effects on society. A person who despises genocides is more likely to study the holocaust and how it came about in order to prevent another one.

How does you knowing everything about religion help the situation? We were mostly raised with secular values, and we fully understand that violence, bloodshed, and genocide are not welcome. Religious books are silly fairy tales devoid of any common sense.
I know that guy. He's my mechanic.
Jesus drank wine. This guy looks like he's into Tequilla.
Feel free to provide justification for your assertion. List out precisely what you think I got wrong and why. That's how real debate works.
I'll stand by everything I've said.
Dan, I don't think you care much, but Christianity is about love.

I see no love by Christianity towards gays.
I see no love by Christianity towards gays.
Chrisitans want gays to be better, to better themselves, and to not commit sins or adultery. That is love, that's not hate.
If they hated gays, they'd let them keep making mistakes over and over and not say a word about it. But out of love we don't want these folks to fail.
Drugs, Adultery, Homosexuality, Murder, etc... all of those are sins, bad things, and we want to improve our society so those do not happen.

Pretty good answer. Stumped me for the first minute.
Other religions like Islam say the same thing. How much love do you see in them?
If religions are about love, why do you see so much hate among the religious?

Hate is everywhere, you don't have to be religious to hate. Just look at Dan, he hates religion and he hates America and everyone in it. Religion just tries to cure that human mistake of hatred by showing how love can fix everything better. But we are all still human, and we prone to making mistakes.

"Deliberate or subconscious, showing these images during worship, displaying them around a sanctuary, showing them as singers sing, is a form of racism and white supremacy. Jesus didn't look like that."
Most Christians are racist?
