Fox is committing Seppuku.

Megan gets revenge and debags Trump in humiliating cross examination! Trump's popularity soars to new heights! Trump hires Megan as new, official frenemy!

7   MisdemeanorRebel   2016 Mar 3, 7:27pm

Kasich says nothing but glittering generalities, and gets cheered to the Echo.

Unbelievably stacked audience.

Again, you'd never know who is the frontrunner and has been almost the entire campaign from the GOPe cheering.

Only Socal2s got invited to the debate :)

8   MisdemeanorRebel   2016 Mar 3, 7:29pm

Ted thinks Obamacare killed Detroit. I think Detroit was dead LONG before Obamacare.

9   MisdemeanorRebel   2016 Mar 3, 7:30pm

Did you notice Trump did not get asked an Infrastructure Question?

Why ask the only man up there who has developed entire blocks of Manhattan?

10   MisdemeanorRebel   2016 Mar 3, 7:33pm

Rubio is toast, so is being used as main attack dog
Kasich is Mr. Happy Face Reasonable
Cruz is running down the clock by attacking Obama only.
Trump is the target of all.

11   Ceffer   2016 Mar 3, 7:35pm

DUMP ON TRUMP! DUMP ON TRUMP!

12   MisdemeanorRebel   2016 Mar 3, 7:40pm

Ironman says

Dem leadership killed Detroit. Period.

Dem betrayal of the working class, which still stands and of whom the Clintons are the poster children, killed Detroit.

13   MisdemeanorRebel   2016 Mar 3, 7:42pm

Rubio is going to be tossed aside like a used Cum Rag, very shortly.

But, not the first aging Miami bottom to suffer that fate.

14   anonymous   2016 Mar 3, 7:43pm

The real shame of all this, is the democrats have a golden opportunity to rally behind a progressive. Flip the senate snd get Bernie in there stacking the Supreme court. But no, they push for Hilary, who is probably more of a Republican than any of these chuckleheads.

They are who we thought they are!

15   MisdemeanorRebel   2016 Mar 3, 7:47pm

Holy rehearsed Rubio.

16   MisdemeanorRebel   2016 Mar 3, 7:50pm

All A/V of the night, Trump has been target.

17   anotheraccount   2016 Mar 3, 7:57pm

Rubio said benghazi. he he he.

This is why Russia is so fucked up: 350+ years sitting on immense natural resources, and they still can't even take care of their own, because they are fucking terrified of not having a firm hand strangling their freedom and their economy. A pathetic resource-extraction basket case is all they are. Spain is finally recovering from Franco; Chile from Pinochet. Look around the world at all the places where a firm hand rests on the tiller: Uzbekistan, Myanmar (until recently), Venezuela, Thailand, Zimbabwe. All run by "git 'er done" no-nonsense authoritarian regimes. None of them shining examples of economic growth.

Now, can you think of a realistic reason why Russia needs and prefers a strong central state?

(Hint: Unlike UK and USA, they aren't largely surrounded by ....)

Yeah, we've heard it: mysterious foreign influences - and those on the inside who are too westernized, disloyal. Ungrateful Georgians/Chechens/Hungarians/Finns/Ukrainians who for some reason don't appreciate the "civilizing" influence of the ogromnaya strana.

Seriously, I can handle the shit about "Mother Russia - ochenb prekrasno u grozneem ctrana!" - the winter war of 1940, Tannenberg, and 1905 notwithstanding - but the ceaseless blaming of foreign elements is just purely pathetic.

Huge Land Mass, few natural borders. The US and UK can have these Fox Debates because they're mostly surrounded by oceans, and in the first case absolutely overpower the neighbors where a land border exists BOTH in population and economy. Russia has China in the East, of old the Mongols and Turks in the South and Eat, and the Europeans in the West, who feel entitled to 'manage' Russian resources - be they Poles, Germans, or Swedes. "Oh Russia, they need to open up - by Panzer, Hussar, or IMF - their natural resources for our advantage and profit."

21   MisdemeanorRebel   2016 Mar 3, 8:13pm

Redacted because why make this about Russia?

Trump: “I think you become very negative.”

O’Reilly: “Why would I do that?”

Trump: “I don’t know, ask your psychiatrist."

No sentient person could have watched that debate and not see it as a total train wreck for Trump. There is so much material and demonstrable lies to work with. This guy is a total hot mess.

- IRT to torture and killing terrorist's families - "They'll do what I tell them".

- Flipping on H1B Visas.

- "I didn't praise Putin"

- "It's a minor civil case!"

He got it from the biased mods, the two boobs on either side who have never ran a lemonade stand before, and of course the stacked audience.

Meanwhile, Young Gay Men, an important lesson from tonight's debate:

Don't use Drugs. By middle age, you'll look like this.

Seriously, he looks worse than Tony Montana at the end of Scarface.

From a tactical point of view, I'd say Trump did fine. He started to frame his move to the center as a willingness to get things done by compromising when needed. His week kneed voters will read into that what they want.

I don't know the legality of Trump University, but calling something that is not accredited a University is a stretch. Are there other professional seminar type places that sell themselves as a University?

In what universe? But I am sure there is a Drudge poll that has Trump at 102% before the debate even started.

Again, last night we watched Trump:

- Totally reverse himself on one of his main core issues (H1B Visas) "I'm changing"
- Exposed as a total hypocrite employing foreigners and building his shit overseas "It's legal"
- Denied he praised Putin
- Said he would force the military to commit war crimes "They'll do what I tell them"
- Talked about the size of his dick
- Proved he knows fuck-all about the size and scope of government spending

I keep telling Trump-bots like Ironman that this is as Conservative as we will ever see Trump. He is trying to "Make a Deal" with Conservatives to get the nomination. Once he is safely nominated, he will then run to the Left of Hillary in the general election - because he has always been a New York liberal.

He is already ditching many of his key campaign promises like H1B visas that get all of the Trump monkeys all hot and excited.

If Trump thought he had a better opportunity to become president on the Democrat party he would do so - but since he is such great friends with Hillary, he decided to run as a Republican.

33   bdrasin   2016 Mar 4, 8:59am

I think for the next debate they should dispense with the pleasantries and just unzip and measure

The problem is that all you have is conjecture vs the facts that the conservatives/republicans have destroyed their base and their country with the advent of the neocons, and the democrats even worse with the advent of the progressive left. Why not give him a chance, the majority of people think it cannot get any worse. This is the country of giving everyone a chance and the past 15 years have been an absolute establishment clusterfuck sell-out. Time to try something different, it's all what this country is about, no heavyweight cultural or intellectual legacy, it's all about pragmatism. The people have been fucked over long enough by the last administration and the one before, they simply want change (why does change sound so familiar?).

35   tatupu70   2016 Mar 4, 9:17am

Bwahahaha. There has never been a progressive in the White House. It's been all neocons from both parties. Thunder is correct about that.

How many times do you need to be told, Trump ISN'T a Conservative!!!

I know, Trump is a Liberal Fascist and crony capitalist.

I know why Thundercommie supports the Putin loving Alpha "strongman". I am trying to figure out why Trump has so many fanboys in the Conservative wing of the party. Do they really think "blowing up the GOPe" by nominating this New York Liberal is sound strategy? Are they trying to make the Republican party more Liberal like the Democrats? Is that what blowing up the GOPe is all about? Making it more Liberal?

I know some Conservatives are willing to hold their nose and vote for Trump despite all his manifest Liberal history and positions because they think Trump is strong on immigration. But last night I think the mask finally fell and Trump admitted he is just telling the rubes what they want to hear.

Trump is a total fraud who has a cult following that makes the Obambots of 2008 look sober.

You're making a mistake in your thought process here. These 2 are not mutually exclusive. Esp. the hawks on the democratic side use SWJs and progressive left memes to silence their critics - Hillary is all about grrl power and more feminism and now selling herself as the voice for the black people. There is no reason why the progressive left cannot go on a warpath, they may welcome oriental rapefugees, but they are all for battling evil Russia with its conservative anti-gay policies. And they are willing to silence and imprison/oppress anybody not agreeing with their ideology. It would be naive to underestimate their hostility and candid appreciation of fascism (on their terms).

38   socal2   2016 Mar 4, 9:46am

Ironman says

Did you ever think maybe it's because they don't want another 4 years of Obama? You're wonderful conservatives handed the Senate over to the Repubs in 2014. What did they get for it?

Just so I am clear because your previous posts and support for Trump is schizo.

Do you want our government and the Republican party to be more Conservative or Libertarian (shrinking taxes, shrinking the size of government, reducing regulations, eliminating public sector unions, reforming entitlements etc.)?

If the above is true, how on earth can you support someone like Trump who claims he won't even touch entitlements which is our government's biggest liability? How can you support Trump when he brazenly flip flops on his main immigration issue on H1B visas last night? How can you support Trump when he was exposed as an ignoramus last night on the size and scope of our government expenditures? The guy had no clue.

Again, if your goal is to make the Republican party more like the Democrat party (or elect Hillary outright) - Trump is the man to do it.

40   Blurtman   2016 Mar 4, 9:56am

Trump's rivals have no idea how to appeal to the voting base, and so they are copying elements of Trump's style, just as Hillary has co-opted much of Bernie's platform.

It isn't about sincerity, folks.

It is product marketing.
