Their minimum wage equates to roughly $4 per day assuming full time work schedule and their average household income is estimated to be about $840 per month as of last year (probably lower now due to tanking peso). Given their wealth disparity it's certain that their median income is lower than this so the whole mantra of "be fruitful and multiply" does not bode well for lifting the standard of living. Not saying that abortion is great but not getting pregnant in the first place would be a rational compromise. Some of these problems could have been avoided, but Calles lost....
