And victims of rape and abuse.

People who get their news solely from msm sources are oblivious to this reality

Despite being Muslim, in countries like Saudi, they are often nothing more than slave labor. Ditto for UAE

Yep, and their relatively milder form of Islam as seen as practically heretical. The most traditionally Islamic province, Ajeh, is of course the most difficult one.

In Malaysia, in Kuala Lumpur, they had a whole section of anti-White, anti-Christian, anti-Jewish propaganda, including numerous books on Dejwal or Dejal, some believing he was Pope Benedict, others Netanyahu,, kind of like their version of the Anti-Christ, sent by Allah to challenge Islam, which would (of course) emerge victorious. The Muslims who were the most traditional would live like Kings in heaven, but Muslims who backslid would be killed by the Kuffar. This was at their primary bus station, at their equivalent of Borders - not in some corner stall.

Why integrate any religion? Sure other religions are less evil than Islam, but the lesser of two evils is still an evil and there is no up side to tolerating any religion.

Saying we should accept other religions and not Islam is like saying we should accept sexual assault but not rape, or beating a man to an inch of his life but not murder.

Apply the broken window theory to religion.

Yes, a Pakistani friend at work once told me that the Saudis regard all non-Arabs as not quite human, and legitimate targets of exploitation, Muslim or not.

My uncle lived from Saudi from 1980-1990 living on east coast (Dammam and Jubail) in the petrochemical intermediates business before he settled down in NJ. Most of the natural gas processing occurs there. Lot of the grunt work there is done by Shiites from other countries, in addition to Pakistanis and Bengalis.

I think the word he used to refer to them was 'animals'.

Same in the UAE as well, as lot of the doctors who are arab are not Emiratis. Palestinians are second class citizens there. Some of my classmates were palestinians and egyptians from UAE.

I haven't been through Kuala Lumpur in a long time (22 years). I just remember it being almost as clean as Singapore, but markedly more Islamic.

14   indigenous   2016 Aug 30, 9:28pm

Singapore has it going on, from what i read.

But try getting that one past the Libbys here...

OTOH Islam is not technically a religion.

Maybe one is white and the other isn't

I think "poverty" is the operative and not necessarily "white"--in lots of people's minds, poor people can never be bad or the source of their own poverty just as black people can't be racist. Of course, many if not most Muslims are far from poor.

Where to people get this idea?

I'm not running around saying that Trump is going to round up all blacks, and send them back to Africa.

Both are exaggerations of equal proportion.

Sounds like the Mexicans picking cabbage and broccoli in CA in the midst of nasty agricultural chemicals.

From a chemical exposure standpoint, Mexicans probably have it much worse.

My understanding is that the foreign Muslims in Saudi are just doing hard physical labor, something that Saudis are culturally averse to

Never thought he would round up anyone and send them back, only limit immigration from peoples who have a known inability to assimilate everywhere else they have gone.

As I mentioned to rew, limit refugees to quota and insist that middle eastern states do their fair share and limit immigration to productive people(professionals).

That's a big difference compared to "banning Muslims".....

While I'm not nearly as threatened by Mexicans coming over the border, "taking jobs" and sending remittances home(they still spend a lot of money here), I think the anchor baby strategy is something that should be shored up. The other issue with open borders is that undesirable Islamists know they can sneak into country that way.

If only 17% of voters think that it is an important issue than that means 83% of voters are morons.

When it comes to radical fundamentalist islam, we are not talking about a "religion" in the western sense of the word. Radical islam is not a religion. It is a totalitarian fascist political movement. We should have no problem denouncing a totalitarian fascist political movement and keep people who support and working toward such an end out of our country.

Radical islam is not a religion and we should stop calling it one.

We attack this horrible cult all the time. Unfortunately, some naive people on Patnet go to great lengths to defend it.

Lee Kuan Yew, the late leader of Singapore wrote in his book Hard Truths to Keep Singapore Going, that Muslim integration in Singapore is failing.

Islam is much too violent for any other group to survive in it's midst. The wisest option is to control it's spread. But how?

27   HEY YOU   2017 Apr 8, 8:30am

Well we do have the Republican Party!

So that we can live side by side in peace. That's what freedom loving people want, that's what all humans deserve.

29   Shaman   2017 Apr 8, 8:53am

I believe that Muslims would agree that this is true: Islam doesn't play nice with other religions.

Where my uncle lived in Saudi, Dammam and Jubail, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis are the ones working as slave labor in fields where natural gas extraction takes place.

As you know, he referred to them as animals and never brought his wife and children to live with him there. He came to the US as soon as he could after my dad sponsored his brother-in-law

I believe that Muslims would agree that this is true: Islam doesn't play nice with other religions.

Actually Muslims believe that they are super-tolerant of other religions, because the Koran allows certain limited non-Muslims (only Jews and Christians) the right to pay a ransom every year to save their lives. Others like Hindus are required to convert or die, but "people of the book" get that extra option to pay to keep their own religion and still live!

Seriously, Muslims think that's being tolerant, and complain when Islam is called "intolerant".

Of course absolutely zero other religion is allowed in Saudi Arabia at all. No churches, no synagogues, no bibles allowed in the country. There are limits to their immense tolerance you know.

Earlier this week, the Singapore government said that it would not allow two foreign Islamic preachers to enter Singapore as part of a religious-themed cruise set to take place in late November. The move is just the latest in a series of steps that Singapore is taking to crack down on radical ideology, and it also exposes both the city-state’s growing alarm at the terrorism threat as well as the lingering challenges states face in addressing it.

Why can't we use common sense like Singapore?

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has noted on several occasions in the past year that Singapore operates on the expectation of “when” rather than “if” a terror attack will occur.

Smart man. Our ex President Obama operated on the assumption of "if" Not very smart.
