1   HEY YOU   2017 Jan 14, 2:30pm

How many times did the rightwing slime Rep/Con/Tea Neo-Nazis say Iraq has WMD?
Where's the evidence/proof that the slime ever had anything that resembled the truth
in their reporting since they never had any proof? They are just happy that they made a profit
on advertising based on LIES & americans dying on 9/11 & in Iraq.
BOYCOTT ALL Republicans.

This is too much fun! They can't respond. They can't handle the truth.

Fake news is anything the Government says it is. Right?

What Constitutes False News?

Your example does not constitute fake or false news. It doesn't even constitute news. At best it's very poor predictions and speculation on the election. At worst it's leftist propaganda trying to influence the vote by making people think Hillary was going to win and those pursue the lesser intelligent of those people to vote for Hillary.

There is no rational reason to vote for a person because you think they are going to win in an anonymous election. You don't get a prize for voting who ends up winning. Yet people do just this. It's called the bandwagon effect.

The entire media on all sides know about this effect and exploit it. I can give you hundreds of video samples of Fox News and conservative media saying that every single Republican nominee would win the election for the past 40 years. It's hypocritical to complain about one side doing it but not the other. Both side are wrong. MSNBC is wrong for doing this. Rachael Maddow is wrong for doing this. So is Fox News and every conservative news outlet.

The solution, of course, is for people to be more rational and not subjective to the bandwagon effect. But good luck on getting that to happen. Have you even tried talking to PatNet users as rational beings?

Still, there is one pleasing thing about the video you posted. It's good to see the left get punished for sabotaging Bernie and handing the election to Trump. Maybe, just maybe, they will learn the lesson and change. If not, Trump will be a two-term president.

Is there any evidence that projecting a candidate as a winner depresses voter turnout for the opposition candidate? Everything I've read says the opposite--candidates don't like to be projected as the winner before the election because it depresses their voter turnout.

Now, what does constitute fake news? Deliberately reporting false information that you know is false. This includes any kind of disinformation such as cherry picking disrepresentative information and half truths. Fox News illustrates.

Yet when Trump costs NYC a million dollars a day in order to stay in Trump Tower, a location that's not practical to make secure, the Fox News channel doesn't report on it. The only Fox coverage is a local channel, and you'll notice it's not sensationalized like the false $200 million story was.

Read the PDF of the paper I referenced above as the bandwagon effect.

True news is unpleasant. Guess its easier to believe the sensationalism of Fake News. Like a bad high, the people who were duped by fake news get very upset.

The Socialists are giving it their best, and most of those who supported Obama/Clinton and (not knowingly Alinsky) may not relize that they have been co-opted into the propaganda of Socialism.

Speculation, although it is certainly not real news, is not even remotely similar to or as destructive as deliberately spreading misinformation and deceiving the public. What MSNBC did in the video you reference was foolish and silly. What Fox News did in the various videos I referenced is downright evil and should be criminal.

I hate to break this to you, but most adults today (those under 50) haven't been brainwashed by McCarthyism. We don't consider Communism to be a dirty word. It's an economic system, and quite frankly, one almost identical to capitalism. And for the Soviet Union, it was just like America is today, doing shady things for political gain. The CIA and the KGB are composed of the exact same kinds of people with the exact same values.
