AF, I do adore you, but Mexico has major advantages that the USA should copy. Free federal ID (see also here) including for voting should have been copied here, but the Chicago Democrats claimed (absurdly) that voting fraud never happens (even though President Carter had written about it), and thus ceded the issue to the Republicans. With NPVIC, Democrats are adding a disaster possibly even more dangerous than Obamneycare. Two things Mexico does better than the USA: free federal ID and the entire medical sector including dental and vision and pharmacies.

Every other country in the world does medical care financing better than the US.

Mexico's problem is a 0.1% that owns everything and prevents hard work from letting ordinary Mexicans get anywhere. So they come here, a place where they can do better from their own hard work. I don't hate them for it, but they should use the front door, and not be jimmying open the patio door in back...

I disagree. As long as the government continues to offer free housing, medical, education, and welfare, and employers continue to offer under the table work, come one, come all! Everyone has a right to pursue a better life, and its more like the front door with those kind of incentives in place. The door may be closed, but its never locked, and they know it.

If we want to be upset with someone, what about the government giving away all our taxes to illegals? What about employers skirting the law by hiring cheap labor? Punish the real culprits, and if illegals still want to come when there's no handouts, and no work, maybe we need to think about bow fucked up their country is that starving here is a better option. Maybe they qualify for refugee status.

Hate the corrupt system, not the people trying to better their lives.

Why didn't Obama outsource everything to every poor country south of us instead to China. We could be having some middle class swanky folks living bellow us and all of the shit rat creatins would go home and rob the producers in their own countries. That I could respect.
