Actually the basis for part of Pink Floyd’s The Wall. The British school kids in Another Brick in The Wall are bullied by effeminate men(who are bullied by domineering wives) who are teachers and replace the alpha males in society as all of them died in WWII.

Think of a frontier chick or hell, a Irish washerwoman from Brooklyn in 1890. Baking bread from scratch, raising 5 kids, using a washboard to handwash the one spare outfit of 7 people (and customers) with brown soap and a bucket.
