When most people hear the words "undocumented immigrants" they think Mexicans right? But did you know that there are a lot Americans living illegally in Mexico? Yeah, I didn’t think so. The way Fox News and Drumpf talk, you'd think that was something only those "drug dealers" from south of the border did. NOT SO.

The United State’s State Department confirms that almost a million Americans are living illegally in Mexico.

From 2015 the number of Americans living illegally in Mexico has increased 37.8%. According to a Study by the National Institute of Geography and Statistics, around 739,168 thousand American Citizens lived in Mexico in 2015 and, according to the National Institute of Immigration, of those only 65,302 were legal residents.

That means that 91.2 percent of Estadounidenses living in the country in 2015 were there “illegally” but that number has risen. More recent statistics from the Sate Department stipulate that almost a million Americans are currently residing in Mexico and of those 934,698 are there illegally. That's a 37.8% increase in just two years.

Yes, #buildthewall indeed, and the wall will make the country full of milk and honey, again.

It has worked wonderfully for the drug war so far.

Yeah, but unlike the illegal mexicans here, the Americans in Mexico are actually PAYING their way, not mooching off of the system, like the illegals do here...

I guess they may mooch less than others.
http://www.itep.org/immigration/
On average, the nation’s estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants pay 8 percent of their incomes in state and local taxes every year. While it is unlikely to happen in the current political environment, undocumented immigrants’ state and local tax contributions could increase by up to $2.1 billion under comprehensive immigration reform, boosting their effective tax rate to 8.6 percent.

But you do understand the impact of the wall in this case? Do you really think the wall will be paid by someone other than us?

So, now you're going to take credit for the fact that they have to eat while their here, so they pay a small portion in state taxes?

What about the other 92%, where does that go, and what percentage gets sent back to their families in Mexico?

That was only state and local taxes dufus. That didn't include federal or fica.

...."In 2010, the average unlawful immigrant household received around $24,721 in government benefits and services while paying some $10,334 in taxes. This generated an average annual fiscal deficit (benefits received minus taxes paid) of around $14,387 per household."

Dementia is really sad, it's been explained in detail why the "study" is bullshit even for heritage.org yet you keep quoting it.

You forgot the other part.
. For example, in 2010, in the U.S. population as a whole, households headed by persons without a high school degree, on average, received $46,582 in government benefits while paying only $11,469 in taxes. This generated an average fiscal deficit (benefits received minus taxes paid) of $35,113.

So if we swapped mexico our high school dropouts for illegals we'd save a shitload of money.

9   bob2356   2017 Mar 19, 4:21am

Ironman says

Let's take that 11 million, and multiply by the $13,387, what do you get? $143 BILLION. Now, for sake of argument, divide that by 3 (average household). What's that equal? Let's see, approx. $47 BILLION...

As usual you really suck at math. The "study", which is total bullshit, says $14,387 per household, not per person.

Does Mexico have illegal immigration laws? If so, i have no problem with Mexico jailing or deporting the criminal illegals in their country who are breaking their laws.

I'm sure the Mexican authorities are relieved to hear that.

So illegals that work for cash under the table pay federal and fica???

I'm curious...Do you have a problem with american citizens that "work for cash under the table"?

13   Shaman   2017 Mar 19, 11:12am

We just need to annex Mexico and make it great again too

Hasn't anyone ever played Risk? World domination through firepower is the goal! Why don't we take or Mexico and then those uppity canucks!

14   Patrick   2017 Mar 19, 11:24am

You need a common identity to make a stable prosperous country. Without that, it will be split by separatist movements or civil war.

Genetic and linguistic diversity of population is a very bad thing for a country. It makes citizens not care about the country as a whole, only about their own specific ethnic group. That's why we had the "melting pot" ideology for many years, until the recent emphasis on "diversity", which is an attempt to destroy the specifically American identity in favor of corporate-ruled globalization.

So we could take Mexico, but we'd need to propagate English and make Mexicans more Anglo in culture somehow.

15   HEY YOU   2017 Mar 19, 11:49am

Wetback American RAPIST,MURDERERS,DRUG DEALERS need to be deported.
Mexico needs to shoot any American immigrant,at the border, that invades their country.

Let's back up.

91% of American immigrants in Mexico are illegal.

What's the point of the post/article?

I understood it to be "it's even harder to become a legal resident in Mexico than it is in the Estados Unidos."
I think that was the point.

I didn't know that, how do they remit the payments??

So who put 1.4 trillion into the social security suspense file if it wasn't illegals using fake ss numbers paying fica along with federal taxes? The tooth fairy perhaps? Looks like those payments got remitted just fine. Do you suppose the illegals will be filing to collect those social security benefits they paid into when they turn 65?

19   RealEstateIsBetterThanStocks   2017 Mar 19, 8:44pm

deport them then. oh wait Mexico's economy would collapse.

Absolutely. They broke the law to come here, so why not break the law again to get social security?

I ask because I am curious to know whether you have a problem with american citizens that want to "live off the grid" so to speak and not participate in the system.

22   RC2006   2017 Mar 20, 1:43pm

Just think all the Illegal Americans flooding Mexico's school systems, or the ones flooding there hospitals draining all of there social services. They just can't stop all of the Americans from having babies there to get on the government tit.

Bobby... notice the words "paying some $10,334 in taxes"???? Notice the words "annual fiscal deficit"???? Do you know how to do math and calculate NET payments???

The $14K figure is AFTER the taxes they paid in... Should we find a 1st grader to explain this basic math equation for you?

Babble much? You claimed they worked under the table and paid no taxes. Now they pay taxes? Which is it?

So back to square 1. Shouldn't we be trading high school dropouts for illegals and save a bunch of money?

Your link/report is bullshit. People explained to you the problems with it several times. Dementia is really getting bad for you it seems.

How so? Just because you believe it should be true doesn't make it true. Try looking at how they come up with the numbers some time. Oh no you couldn't do that, it's better to just keep chanting I believe, I believe.

So not entirely true. If you stay in Mexico long enough, you are supposed to get the proper documentation/permits, which costs money. The case I'm talking about is Americans who live in border towns like Tijuana because of the cheaper cost of living, but work in the US. They pretty much never get these documents, because Mexico doesn't enforce them. I've heard that's starting to change though. When you cross down, they try to charge the gringos if they think you are living in TJ illegally.
