The Senate Armed Services Committee just voted to force America's daughters to register for the draft
WORLD—After a century of hard-fought battles for equal rights, the feminist movement has finally achieved its ultimate goal of obliterating women's sports, relabeling mothers "birthing persons," and getting women drafted into the military. "We are so proud of what we have achieved," said Mandy Chandrilla, a biological man who now identifies as a female feminist. "Women were so oppressed, and we realized there was really no way around it, so we just rendered the term 'woman' meaningless and effectively eliminated women as a meaningful category of human altogether. Hooray for feminism!" Chandrilla then shotgunned a beer and crushed the can on her head in celebration.
The clergy have long had the reputation of not being very mascu-line. The mainline, liberal Protestant minister in the early twentieth century had a reputation for being soft and working best with wom-en. This reputation provided fuel for fundamentalists, who denounced liberals as “little infidel preacherettes”6 in sermons with such titles as “She-Men, or How to Become Sissies.”7 But all clergy were open to at-tack, all had to face the “popular stereotype that men of the cloth4Armies of Womenwere neither male nor female.”8 The clergy were seen as exempt from mas-culine trials and agonies; they were part of the safe world of women. As one layman put it, “life is a football game, with the men fighting it out on the grid-iron, while the minister is up in the grandstand, explaining it to the ladies.”9In nineteenth-century New England, ministers of the most im-portant churches were “hesitant promulgators of female virtues in an era of militant masculinity.”10 But the dominant churches of nineteenth-century New England had long been feminized. Not only was the pro-portion of women in the churches extremely high, both the milieu and the ministers of the church were far more feminine than masculine. Businessmen disdained the clergy as “people halfway between men and women.”11 Ministers found the most congenial environment, not in businesses, political clubs, or saloons, but “in the Sunday school, the parlor, the library, among women and those who flattered and resembled them.”12 Moreover, they were typically recruited from the ranks of weak, sickly boys with indoor tastes who stayed at home with their mothers and came to identify with the feminine world of religion. The popular mind often joined “the idea of ill health with the clerical image.”13 In the vision of Unitarian minister Charles Fenton (1796-1842), playing Sunday school children have replaced stern Pilgrim Fathers and “adult politics have succumbed to infantile piety, Ecclesia to a nursery. Mascu-linity is vanquished in the congregation and, even more significantly, in the pulpit.”1
Perhaps you’ve heard: the American birth rate has cratered below replacement in the last decade, alongside many countries in East Asia and Europe. American women are bearing an average of 1.7 children, compared with the replacement rate of 2.1, and, crucially, the desired fertility rate of around 2.5. American women are marrying later, delaying childbearing and sometimes forgoing it altogether, not always by their own design.... women, supposedly freed by feminism to follow their bliss, still aren’t getting what they want from their lives.
All men should change their driver’s license to identify as a woman for lower insurance premiums.

@jordanbpeterson18h"...Lois Lane had no interest in Clark Kent, but she fell in love with Superman... she wanted Superman to be able to cry and express emotions. But the man who did cry, express emotions and feelings and was sensitive, Clark Kent, she has zero interest in." - @drwarrenfarrell
Booger saysPerhaps that's why young men and women are tactically signing up as "trans"?
If you haven't been paying attention, women have just become really important to progressives again. The same voices who were just yesterday bellowing on about sex being fluid and gender being a social construct are now climbing the nearest high horse to testify to the uniqueness of femininity and the power of the uterus. Why the whiplash-inducing change of direction, you ask? Because the state of Texas just made it illegal to kill human offspring in the womb of a woman. And suddenly, the same people who have been using the highest positions in government to dutifully erase their own gender are now playing the part of Gloria Steinem
First, we’ll need to push back hard against climate alarmism. Paul Ehrlich’s 1968 book The Population Bomb had an immediate and devastating effect on American birthrates. The equivalent pro-natalist book has yet to be written (or, if it has been written, has yet to be popularized). That book will need to make plain the horrors of a childless world and convince vast swaths of Americans that we give up far more than we gain when we choose not to have children. We’ll also need to craft a sexual education curriculum and cultural discourse that doesn’t leave young women with the overwhelming impression that babies are bloodsucking parasites bent on destroying their bodies and careers. Young motherhood should be presented as a viable, even a desirable, option. ... Instead, women are encouraged to develop a relationship to their own fertility that is self-loathing and pharma-technologically mediated rather than empowered and organic. As a reproductive endocrinologist recently observed in a letter to the editor of the New York Times, ‘Family planning, to the limited extent it is taught in our schools, focuses entirely on the prevention of undesired pregnancy. Ironically, no attention is given to the limits of human fertility and the question of how to conceive when a pregnancy is desired.’Encouraging marriage is another important step toward increased fertility. Indeed, one scholar claims that the decline in birthrate is the direct result of the decline in marriage. Sure, unmarried people have children, but they do so at a lower rate, and out-of-wedlock births bring with them a host of accompanying social ills.
Feminism has failed usHas demonstrating our alleged progress replaced progress itself?October 18, 2021I’ve lost count of how many seminars I’ve had to sit through on Diversity & Inclusion, how many times I’ve been asked for my preferred pronouns and expected to discuss what I think ‘bringing my whole self to work’ really means. Conservatives mock these practices and complain that our lives seem to be dictated by a new moral order to which we did not consent. But we’re missing the forest for the trees. The problem with virtue signaling goes far beyond its annoying and unwelcome intrusions into our lives. We have been utterly hoodwinked. ...We’re in the umpteenth wave of feminism, and yet the tangible gains made by everyone except the early pioneers are negligible. Sure, if you’re a New York City broker and you’re showing an apartment, you can’t call that comfortable room with the TV and the couch and the bookshelves the ‘family room’ — because that would be so discriminatory that buyers without families might just self-immolate all over the parquet. ...But do we ever stop to ask whether demonstrating our alleged progress has replaced progress itself?I’m thinking back to my time working for a company specifically known for its family-friendly vibe. Despite that facade, I was paid not a single cent during my maternity leave. ...Our corporations take the easy path, and we let them. Nay, we encourage it. They make statements, mandate trainings and shout from the rooftops ‘We are progressive. We are woke. Forgive us, even if we have not actually sinned.’Hypocrisy is nothing new. The media mammoth covered #MeToo with a vengeance, only to shrug when it turned out that similar misdeeds were happening in its own ranks. The senators and activists who said ‘Believe all women’ turned out not to believe us, if it meant rankling prominent members of their party. But our willingness to believe in a progress that doesn’t exist — that’s new. And it’s pathetic. ...Progressives have spent so much time fighting battles that don’t actually need to be won that it seems that all of us have forgotten we still haven’t won the battles we very much do need to win. If I read another article advocating for free bleeding, a disgusting practice in which women, in some perverse political statement, do not wear any kind of tampon or pad and instead allow their periods to flow, unimpeded, my brains will explode through my ears, also unimpeded. The same is true for the left’s — and increasingly, the scientific community’s — newfound obsession with saying ‘pregnant people’ and ‘lactating people’ instead of ‘women’. I understand that there is a tiny segment of the transgender population that probably appreciates this verbiage, but meanwhile plenty of workplaces in this country still don’t have lactation rooms, and still find ways to get out of paying maternity leave. Women are letting ourselves, our employers and our generation off the hook on some important issues because we’re forced to pay lip service to imaginary ones.
And I know they don't technically call them "beauty pageants" anymore, but we all know that's what they are. Yeah, yeah, the women competing have super impressive resumes and do great charity work, but at the end of the day, if you aren't pretty, you aren't taking home that crown.
