Trump Has ‘Dangerous Mental Illness’ According To Psychiatrists At Yale Conference

A group of psychiatrists said on Thursday that: “We have an ethical responsibility to warn the public about Donald Trump’s dangerous mental illness.”
Mental health professionals have been publicly questioning Trump’s emotional instability for nearly a year-and-a-half now.

In November 2015, Vanity Fair published an article questioning Trump’s mental health entitled: “Is Donald Trump Actually a Narcissist? Therapists Weigh In!“

Then in February of this year a group of 37 psychiatrists, psychologists and other mental health professionals published a letter to the editors of The New York Times warning that “Trump’s speech and actions make him incapable of serving safely as president.”

This week a group of psychiatrists attending a conference at Yale’s School of Medicine are warning that Trump has “dangerous mental illness” and are saying it is their “ethical responsibility” to warn the American public about his mental state.

The Independent reports that mental health experts attending the conference “claimed the President was ‘paranoid and delusional,’ and said it was their ‘ethical responsibility’ to warn the American public about the ‘dangers’ Mr Trump’s psychological state poses to the country.”

Speaking at the conference at Yale’s School of Medicine on Thursday, one of the mental health professionals, Dr John Gartner, a practi[c]ing psychotherapist who advised psychiatric residents at Johns Hopkins University Medical School, said: “We have an ethical responsibility to warn the public about Donald Trump’s dangerous mental illness.”

Continuing, The Independent reports that:

Chairing the event, Dr Bandy Lee, assistant clinical professor in the Yale Department of Psychiatry, said: “As some prominent psychiatrists have noted, [Trump’s mental health] is the elephant in the room. I think the public is really starting to catch on and widely talk about this now.”

James Gilligan, a psychiatrist and professor at New York University, told the conference he had worked [with] some of the “most dangerous people in society”, including murderers and rapists — but that he was convinced by the “dangerousness” of Mr Trump.
“I’ve worked with some of the most dangerous people our society produces, directing mental health programmes in prisons,” he said.
“I’ve worked with murderers and rapists. I can recognise dangerousness from a mile away. You don’t have to be an expert on dangerousness or spend fifty years studying it like I have in order to know how dangerous this man is.”...

No real intelligent, substantive rebuttals so far to the opinions of highly educated mental health professionals - both psychologists and psychiatrists alike - that Donald Trump is likely suffering from serious mental pathologies (which is no laughing matter, whether he were an ordinary citizen, or in this particular case, because of his position as POTUS, is genuinely frightening).

I see that there are a lot of immature and irrelevant attacks of the appearances of just a few of the mental health professionals who convened at Yale to discuss this serious issue, which seems par for the course based on Trump supporters' maturity levels, levels of education, and lack of empathy, sadly, however.

I also see that Ironman and other Trump cheerleaders refuse to come to grips with reality (FACTUAL) that Trump has filled his own swamp in D.C. with some of the most loathsome individuals to ever be attached to any presidential administration, too, which is a new level of pathetic, blind loyalty (on a cult-like level).

O see, serious doctors make diagnosis without ever meeting the patient. ONly lefties will support such garbage-imagine if companies hired these shrinks by the dollar and they make diagnosis without ever examining you or talking to you or even same mental health professionals have the power to throw you in the loony bin-without ever examining you.

Such lunacy can only make sense to the left. The reason people make fun of these mental nutcases is-it is ridiculous and cannot be taken seriously. Oh I saw a mole ona person in a photo-I diagnose him with cancer- no tests needed, no need to examine the patient-LOL!!!!!!!!!!

It's probably true. Best not to diagnose random people without sessions, but the president is so in our faces, most psychiatrists probably know him as well as they know their patients.

Luckily for the rest of America, the rest of us have rights and some crazy shrink cannot randomly diagnoze and send people to the loony bin and them grab their assets under the guise f treating them. It was until a few decades ago when shrinks considered being gay a mental defect.

If you're too stupid to execute facelifts and strategic botox injections you have no standing making public psychological evaluations.

Speaking of which, has anyone heard from Gary?

Pretty much a rote diagnosis for political leaders. Don't they have anything novel to say?

I don't see it as irrelevant. I see a low self esteem beta male with and ugly wife attacking an alpha with a hot wife. I also see a lot of people on this forum who claim to live in fear over potus or climate change, etc... That can't be good for your blood pressure.

Yes, and one version of Trumpcare was going to cut the infinite subsidies to "mental health" professionals. Surprise, suddenly they diagnose him as mentally ill, because anybody who doesn't want to pay infinite money for disproved modalities and toxic placebos must be crazy.

Serious paranoid and delusional disorders manifest typically around 20yo, and the afflicted have a high risk of homelessness and arrest. President Trump is now 70, with no arrest record, and a long record of success in business.

This report is fake news publicized by infinite subsidies (thanks, Obamacare), and it is definitely feeding into the paranoid delusions of people with TDS.
