Once in vivo genetic editing is perfected, you can pick your race or gender. In fact, you might not even be the owner of your own genetic code! You might lease the genetic code of a famous actor or actress to become them for a limited time. If your money runs out and you can't afford the rent on the genetic code of your body, you'll be legally forced to abandon it and move on. Of course, if you're not careful to register a patent on your own birth DNA, you might wind up homeless without a legal genetic code to call your own.

Tuvel enacts violence and perpetuates harm in numerous ways throughout her essay. She deadnames a trans woman. She uses the term “transgenderism.” She talks about “biological sex” and uses phrases like “male genitalia.” She focuses enormously on surgery, which promotes the objectification of trans bodies. … Not once does the phrase “white supremacy” appear anywhere in her work. She says it is her “underlying concern to theorize justice for oppressed groups.” Yet she does not engage or even hear the voices of Black women as she “theorizes” about justice for Black women. This is not acceptable. This is violence.
Predictably SJWs turn on each other when their cause celebre is not glorified above all others. Sad that unlike the French Revolution they are unable to guillotine each other.

It's apparent to anybody with a high school education that the SJW's in their open letter weren't worried about the 'lack of engagement' or 'terminology', it was the underlying comparison that scares the shit out of them.

To keep the oppression narrative open, they need Transgender acceptable but the idea of being Transracial forbidden. Imagine if Blacks can pass as white (they have, historically!) or vice-versa. Why, the idea that people are oppressively trapped due to arbitrary racial categories would collapse! And that's bad for both the outrage business and 'social change'
