If we had an actual Muslim ban like what candidate Trump campaigned on, this attack would not have happened. Instead, we have a "territory" ban that multiple courts have said appears to lack a rational basis, for two reasons:
1) the listed territories have little correlation with terrorism in the USA, and
2) the ban would exclude a Syrian citizen who fled to Britain 20 years ago and has a clean record, but allow a British citizen who left Britain to join ISIL/Daesh.
Territories are not the problem. The problem is what Islam commands, everywhere.

A police officer was attacked with a knife at Bishop Airport in Flint, Michigan Wednesday morning
The officer involved has been identified as Lt. Jeff Neville, 55
Neville was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but is now stable
Police say they have a suspect in custody, but they have not released his name
